Foot locker Dec 2020
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1VHwY_OCx4FND8fkYRUSeBMgv3iEaJkB7/view
We are more positive on Foot Locker’s fundamentals and outlook after Q3 results, but see the share price as pricing in much of that already. With the yield quite low and the valuation ahead of our estimate of fair value, we rate Foot Locker a sell given poor total return prospects of just 3.4% per year.

Pingan Dec 2020
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1641ixe-M_8RBsxddnO_vFP3OtoA5cimF/view
Ping An delivered a robust Q3, reassuring investors that its growth remains active despite the pandemic’s challenges. Our valuation expansion projections have started materializing, however, due to a higher stock price our expected medium-term returns have also been lowered. Still, considering the potential for a further valuation expansion amid the company’s rapidly growing tech segments, we believe the shares can still deliver annualized double-digit returns amounting to around 12.7%, over the medium term, powered by our increased, but still humble growth estimates.

Waste Management Announces Plan to Increase its Quarterly Dividend Rate and a Refreshed Share Repurchase Authorization
December 14, 2020

“For eighteen consecutive years we have been able to increase our dividends due to the strength of our business and the growth in our free cash flow generation. We have a resilient business model and expect to continue to perform well in the coming years, positioning us to confidently increase our 2021 dividend rate,” said Jim Fish, President and Chief Executive Officer of Waste Management, Inc. “We are pleased to be able to return this cash to our shareholders, as dividends remain a top priority in utilizing our free cash flow.

Now that we have closed the acquisition of Advanced Disposal, our remaining capital allocation plan, after paying our dividend, will initially focus on strengthening our balance sheet to quickly return to our targeted leverage ratio of 2.5 times to 3 times. We anticipate achieving that level in 2021. Our capital allocation framework has not changed, we remain focused on maximizing long-term value through growth and optimization investments and returning excess cash to shareholders,” concluded Fish.

Calyxt Announces Sale of Entire 2020 Grain Production to ADM
December 14, 2020

Calyxt, Inc. (NASDAQ: CLXT), a plant-based technology company, announced today that it has contracted to sell all 2020 grain production of its high oleic soybean to ADM (NYSE: ADM), a global leader in human and animal nutrition and the world’s premier agricultural origination and processing company headquartered in Chicago. The transaction is a key step in Calyxt’s 2020 transition to an advanced go-to-market strategy focused on providing plant-based innovations. Sales began in Q3 2020 and will continue through late 2021.

Calyxt’s high oleic soybean was launched in 2019 as the first commercially approved gene-edited food in the United States. ADM has contracted to purchase all of Calyxt’s high oleic soybean grain, following an initial purchase earlier in the year. The total purchases represent approximately four million bushels of high oleic soybean grain. ADM is responsible to crush the grain and will market and sell the resulting oil and meal.

DEC 14 2020

Medical supply company McKesson will obtain the doses from Moderna for packaging and distribution.
Americans began receiving some of the first shots of Pfizer’s vaccine Monday.

Medical supply company McKesson will obtain the doses from Moderna for packaging and distribution to 3,285 sites across the country, Gen. Gustave Perna, who oversees logistics for President Donald Trump’s vaccine program Operation Warp Speed, told reporters. FedEx and UPS will be responsible for sending the doses to their final locations, he added. Moderna’s vaccine requires two doses four weeks apart.

This Is How Vaccines Are Distributed and Which Stocks Benefit
Dec. 14, 2020

The drug company (ticker: PFE) is handling the first step of the distribution process, transporting vaccines from its manufacturing facilities to United Parcel Service (UPS) and FedEx (FDX) facilities. Some Pfizer vaccines, along with products such as syringes and masks, will go from the manufacturers to McKesson (MCK), which is functioning as a centralized distributor for the government and also will send vaccines to FedEx and UPS.

When the express shippers get the vaccines, they will send the doses packed in dry ice to pharmacies including CVS (CVS) and Walgreens (WBA), as well as doctors’ offices, mobile vaccination units, outpatient clinics, and other sites.

Other companies have a role in vaccine distribution too. “We are actually delighted, honored and privileged to participate in this historic vaccine rollout,” said XPO Logistics (XPO) CEO Bradley Jacobs at a Credit Suisse investor conference in December. “The major pharma companies producing the vaccines are our customers.”
