I don't think there's an issueIf I register to come back to sg on Monday, And later decided to come back earlier on Sunday .. can or not?
The fingerprint counter do not stamp the passport, those that fail the fingerprint test or passport (maybe former MY) will ask to go back and queue at the normal passport counter. Quite troublesomeWhen those people were being turned away due to finger print problem, did the same officer stamp their passports or did they have to go join another queue?
Seem like the system still in the infancy and some confusion may ariseThe egate vendor was onsite today.
There are many that got turned away after the vendor tried to add manually.
Some even take your passport go to another area to do it separately.
When ppl ask, you immigration officer? Why you take my passpott?
Then they call an officer there to escort the vendor with their passport lol
wow 1.5hr... maybe starting point only...Register today and able to use egate immediately after that.
However, only two counter (extreme left) is open for fingerprint registration and each person take about 5mins to register, many try two to three tries before fingerprint accepted and saw at least 4 was turn away due to fingerprint issue. About 20 pax Infront of me and waited about 1.5hrs before my turn.
nice at least its up... but week days registrations only?! hahaSaw someone posted in FB page, eGate registration's back in service. Monday to Thursday, 8am to 7pm, BSI.
MACS (Malaysian Automated Clearance System) 2.0 banners already in the JB immigration hall.
They have made big progress with many enhancements. Now the ball is on sg side as quoted by their PM.Seem like the system still in the infancy and some confusion may arise
Sg side is 24/7 registration. You need to divide by the prevailing exchange rate. Then you get week days office opening hours from Mon to Thu.nice at least its up... but week days registrations only?! haha
Back when it's any day I still chose to go on a weekday and off-peak hours.nice at least its up... but week days registrations only?! haha
ya pay money was the best... but that seems so so so long agoBack when it's any day I still chose to go on a weekday and off-peak hours.
I guess it depends how badly you want to be able to use the eGates. Look at the post where someone's shared how long it took him and that's on a weekday. If weekend, you decide if you want to spend those many hours registering or maybe shorter hours just clearing via the manual lanes.
Anyway, good luck.
(I still prefer those days when we'd to pay $$$ and there're less people and less issues...)

RM30? MACS1.0 was S$35 thereabout, all in.Cos those days ex rate was not 1:3xx. Precovid days not as many FTs working in Spore. Nowadays not just Sporeans visiting JB. I bet if Msia start charging us Rm30 for Mcas, the response for Macs application will be overwhelming.

I'm looking at S$100![]()
OK, you've a property or business there or something, that permitted you to do the application in JB.No lah. It only cost me Rm30. Did it at JB immigrasi @ danga bay.

I'm confused.I just registered, tmr shall go in to try
so like that, should I just go ahead try e-gate or need to go manual counter?
I register for MDACI'm confused.
What did you register for? MACSv02 or MDAC?
Presumably since you used the word "registered", then go straight to E-Gate.
However if you actually meant you submitted MDAC, then go to the counter to register for MACSv02.
Yes, go manual to register for MACSv02 since you have submitted MDAC.I register for MDAC
