I just went in last weekend using e-gate. Last time the extreme right side was mainly for sg passport people with e-gate eligibility but this week i saw almost all is malaysian passport people using the egate at the right side. Luckily i went through without issue.

Is there still "dedicated" e-gates for sg people to use? can sg people use the e-gate? (closest to the escalator side)
Any E-Gate will do

Those at Woodland's side can be used by MY and SG passports.

Those at Tuas 2nd Link, the ones on the left for MY passports, and those (3?) on the right for SG passports.

If I have submitted the MDAC to use E-gate, at the manual counter must I inform the officer?

Have you successfully registered for MACSv02? If not then inform Officer you have submitted MDAC & would like to apply for MACSv02.

If you have an approved MACSv02, then you only need to submit MDAC every time you need to use E-Gate - no need to tell Officer, go straight to the E-Gates.

Submitted MDAC but didn't Enter JB is fine.

Exit dates not sure how serious they are about it - I think as long as you don't exceed 30 days (some says 20 days) in MY you are fine.

Recently updated: after successful registration will be directed to use the E-Gates immediately, Exit too can use the E-Gates.
yes, yesterday went JB to try out but unfortunately dont know why their system unable to capture my index finger print, end up got to go back to manual clearance, try another time perhaps. But before me there were few ladies also face same problem but they kept trying end up manage to register and clear using E-gate except for 1 old lady.
