This one no issue. I did SG-KL-SG KLIA, so airports no issue for KL. Just Penang cannot apparently.

May I confirm now don’t have to register on this website before travelling to jb anymore ? I have egate registered before and use twice on 2 trips before already. I always have to register on the web before going in. So now things has been changed ?

I've not tried skipping MDAC submission before using the E-Gates. I've not heard too of actual experiences of skipping MDAC submissions, follow with successfully using the E-Gates.

If you do skip MDAC, let us know the outcome.

yes every time u want to use egate need to submit. no need to submit if u want to use manual counter.

Go in by car tomorrow, return via public transport the next day, then make u-turn reenter for MACSv2.0 registration?

If you're allowed to file MDAC on the departure date, I guess the most is officer asking you why come back when you've just left. Just explain that you'd like to register for MACSv2.0, and that you'll grab a meal before leaving again in a couple of hours...
