may i ask , if i fillup arrival as today 4 dec and return on 6 dec, but i last min cant make it to enter today, (1) do i need to re-fillup another form before i enter tomorrow 5 dec , or (2) i just proceed since it should cover afterall it says within 3 days?
Better get it right for Entry/Arrival

Location KLIA 2. Declared exit 19 Sept / Actual exit 17 Sept.

No problem, went pass gate under 15 secs.

Those who normally head for manual counters might as well take this opportunity to register for MACS2.0 and start using the eGates.
Do i need to tell the custom officer that i am registering for macs?

If i went in by tuas manual counter chop passport a few months before but i didn't fill up the arrival card,it does not count as a manual counter visit right?I still have to go manual counter again this time to register?

MACSv2.0 registration can only be done at the specific counters over at Woodland side, not Tuas 2nd Link. So yes, you've to go for the proper registration in order to start using the eGates.

Foreign tourists are required to fill in the Malaysia Digital Arrival Card (MDAC) three days before arrival starting Dec 1, but for now, they are given the flexibility to do so at the country’s entry checkpoints, said Home Minister Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail.

“This (relaxation) is to allow adapting to the new requirement,” he said, adding that MDAC is part of the primary initiative to improve immigration facilities following the implementation of the Visa Liberalisation Plan (PLV), which exempts tourists from China and India from visa for 30 days starting Dec 1.

He said the implementation of MDAC was taken as the Ministry of Home Affairs (KDN) would not compromise with national security, with the implementation of visa liberalisation aimed at boosting economic growth, specifically in the tourism sector.

On Dec 1, Immigration Department director-general Datuk Ruslin Jusoh was reported to have said that the flexibility to fill the digital arrival card was granted until Dec 7, 2023.

Makes me laugh...for not foreseeing what this visa-free introduction would bring upon the country's security & not acted earlier is already a compromise.
These few weeks lotsa foreigners visiting MY will have headache filling in MDAC...no WiFi, no link, no app, children, grand parents... Immigration gonna have a havoc time.

This new regulation wasn't decided weeks ago when then all can get prepared but it was cut in yesterday without any grace period. 😂

Looks like nothing much has changed in MY. If can't manage such a simple thing how then to manage Digital IC?

Use your own email to receive acknowledgement then print a copy for her?

I was thinking of this too. But not sure will they ask for more when my mum at the immigration counter
I believe she can just show the screenshot from her phone and explain that her kid did it for her. Don't think they'll ask for anything else unless you input any wrong info.

I agree too but have a hardcopy if can - I don't generate a hardcopy myself as I've it in my phone.

As long as all the info matches with her passport etc, she should be ok.

Use your email to register for her. Use her handphone number though if she has one.

After registration, you will receive email with a PIN. Go back to the same MDAC registration website. At the top right hand corner click on the menu icon (four square box). Then select check registration. Enter her passport and the pin. It will show what you registered. Then scroll down all the way to the bottom. There will be a pdf (scroll right to see).

Print that pdf for her to bring along.

"Check Registration" hasn't been working for many weeks already.

There's nothing to check, once you get the email acknowledgement.
