please advice on safety tips, where to go, places to eat!

also, is it better to change money in sg first or go vietnam and change money?
i heard going to vietnam goldsmiths change SGD worthed more than in SG

Hi, I just purchased a sim card with unlimited data on the 10th Dec while I was in Hanoi and I am letting go at $10 to anyone who happen to be in Vietnam over the next few weeks. I havent stayed at the 3 u shortlisted. I stayed in these hotels near Benh Thanh before:

Blue Diamond Hotel - Western Breakfast very good. Rooms clean
Lan Lan 2 - stayed in 3 pax room. Room quite big. Lanlan 2 is quite new. Very clean.
Bloom Saigon Hotel- Very clean room and nice lobby. Breakfast at the highest floor. Food so so only.

*Anpha is a boutique hotel. Looks like a small building. Not sure if its price tag is justifiable.
*The hotels u chose are all very near Benh Thanh and hence the higher price tags. If possible, can choose hotels along streets Ly Tu Trong, Truong Dinh, Thu Khoa Huan, Le Thanh Thon (bur further from Benh Thanh). End of day, you wont be spending too much time at Benh Thanh. And if you are girls... can go shopping at
1) Saigon Square (opposite Takashimaya)
2) Taka Plaza (not Takashimaya, ask hotel recept how to get there.)

First u got to know what simcard is that. What works in Hanoi may not work in HCMC.

Too short. Too rushed. I i dont rem correctly, it takes half a day to go HLB from Hanoi and Half a day to come back.

Dang it. How long would be recommended for a hanoi/ha long bay trip?

Would 4 days HCM be more feasible? Have always wanted to visit the war tunnels!

Anpha hotel is good. Diagonally across Ben thanh market and the wifi is super fast.

if me, i probably will recommend some atas expensive place for them to chop carrot.. lol!

play in vn is not like that one... Vn KTV, the more snobbish you are, the worst service u get.. not like in china where you throw money, girls will auto come..
