Agree ... when we went there around 7+ pm last time in HCM
the waitress actually told us they are fully booked for the day.
You can wait awhile, if people leave earlier, then you can sit in their slot.

Waited for about 10min or so, one group left earlier.
Then the waitress told us, you only have about 25 minutes to dine in, before the next group comes in.

i always go at 2.30pm and theres a lot of seats at this time =)

Really so good and hot meh...don't make me super disappointed when I visit next time...so far, have not found a good pizza outlet in hcmc.

Pizza4p is really good. Homemade cheese and serving very generous. Nice ambience and decoration too. Can go to the one near Benh Thanh market.

LOL...how can price shoot up so much. Anyway, I will never fork out so much for a hotel room. Most of my family travels there all below sgd45/night for a triple room.

Don't know if its cause friday already and surge price and I want the room next week or what. Some more only booking weekday nights.

most hotels provide breakfast. yours doesnt?

you could go to that roundabout with a fountain place near the lake. there are some cafes on the roofs that serve breakfast like bacon and eggs if you don't like local food.

They do but I choose not to take. Tried exploring the area. But run out of ideas after a few days

there are kfc and popeyes near the fountain. starbucks is a little further away. too bad no mcd in hanoi yet.

sofitel is a good alternative :)

if you are not yet sick of local food, you could go to xoi yen at nguyen huu huan. xoi means sticky rice.

haven't try, probably won't need since am quite comfortable traveling on public bus & am pretty good jay walking :D

but it looks to be great time saver. got pretty english speaking viet mm guiding you around savoring delicious food ... Life is Jin Happy right? :)

What do you all think of https://xotours.vn/tours/vietnam-food-tour.html ?

75USD seems abit ex but touring the city in a motorbike and eating local food seems like a good experience. Anyone tried it before?

i don't see it often on the street but do try if you see Bánh Tôm – Shrimp fritter, Bún Đậu. or ask the hotel concierge

1)If you read the forum , you know what currency to use there. DOng will be accepted widely since it is vietnam. If you feel rich or wish to be short change, can use USD. If not use Dong all the way
2) now taking grab to airport require more time as they are doing the road, 2 hours buffer will be good since i believe your timining is 5+pm
3) nothing to shop at the airport so dont bother and they charge everything in USD in airport which convert to dong is expensive. Have your lunch outside first before go to the airport.
