Halong Bay, atas one got orchid cruise. Nice but not value for money. If you got money can go ahead.

Sapa if take night train, the vips are roughly the same. Must book through the Vietnamese site or kena chop. All the English site is chop carrot one. I kena chop also but my Viet friend shared the site. Its on TripAdvisor review if you can find it.

Most Vietnam international airport have free wifi eVen at kastam. And the speed is so much better than our mystical wireless@Sinkie

There were also quite a number of Singaporean stuck there.
Being forced to buy the Sim card lol...
Thhis is our 6th time to hcm.

First time Internet cannot connect lol.
First time we kana they ask for the itinenery.
They asked quite a number of people to show them the paper.

After buy some card. Show them the itinerary.

Ha ha... You learnt the hard way. I've been to hcm many times... Only a couple of times I'm asked to show printed itinerary. I always make sure i have 2 sets of printed copies with me. Sometimes even when you show them on your phone, they refuse to accept.

even in today's world, whereby most people are easily connected via handphone 3G/4G, some sectors still "old-school" & "traditionally"...

The TSN Airport wifi sometimes can be wacky. sometimes the wifi connection button shows, sometimes doesn't.

on other times... after you click on the connection button, the loading bar on the next page will stuck at 99%

but once connected, its actually blazing fast

Haha yup, only my 6th time to hcmc then encounter such incident ...
After that, my 7th and 8th trip to hcmc, always print out.
but somehow they didnt asked to show lol ...

From what I see on thu, under club jetstar sales , is $43+30
only today opened to public ...

if u didnt c 47.30 + 30.10 = 77.40
means you missed the $0 fare ...

For each $0 fare promo, the only allocated x number of seats ...
if you are slow, then you might not get it ...

because jetstar have benefited the club members by opening the sales to club members... from my observations, most $0 tickets good dates are selling fast.
by the time is open to the public, left those not so good dates, or you might not even find the $77.40 ticket already

then go there just take taxi from the airport would do ...
one way is about 150k to 160k vnd to ben thanh market nearby ...

If you really need to change in HCM, you can change at Thu Doi Ngoai Te-Ban, 135 Dong Khoi St D1. It's an authorized money changer that has competitive rates.

I suggest taking a Grab, they may have promotions and you can redeem your reward points in Vietnam. For SIM, if you go regularly, you can buy top-up cards instead - 30K VND can last for about 4 days or more.
