I will recommend at least 500 SGD per place excluding excluding transportation.

Always remember that money changer is not easy to find in Vietnam. So it's advisable to change more and have spare few hundreds USD or SGD as standby.
Credit card as last resort

Hi all.

Anyone got any recommedation to go about in HCMC? I have quite a number of days to spare over there.
Other than the usual tourist sightseeing places(which i will also visit), i am more interested to find good scenery or place for me relax my leg to sip coffee and eat good food.

thank you very much for your kind advice.

Yeah bro starting in hcmc
Two weeks...
SOUTH
My tho mekong river tour... Cu Chi tunnels... Hcmc motorbike city tour

Moving up...
Red sand desert Mui Ne... White Sand Desert Bac Binh

From there move up north to Da lat and then Nha Trang and try Ba Ho cliff jumping.

CENTRAL
Hoi An, Danang and Hue

NORTH
Sapa, Hanoi, halong bay, and Lan Ha Bay.

Take note that the train to Sapa is very long. Around 6 to 8 hours. Best to buy private sleeping cabins.

End at Hanoi

bros,

anyone have recommendations for a 2d1n cruise to HaLong Bay? is it also recommended to book online since I'm able to save up on a night of hotel rather than booking when i touch down

I'll be heading to hanoi for 5d4n and planned for a 2d1n cruise to HLB and 2d1n at Ninh Binh. Is this feasible?

Thanks for the help!!

Fly to Hanoi already half day gone. Then another half day travel to HLB.

From HLB travel to ninh Binh another half day.

Ninh binh back to Hanoi city is around 2hr.

Distance from Noi Bai airport to Hanoi city is around 30mins to 1 hour (depending which highway the driver take)
If the driver take the old highway... Good luck

I booked through Classy Travel for HLB, you can enquire with them. They have Ninh Binh day tour too. Btw, Trang An and Tam Coc aremore beautiful than HLB, so you might want to consider these instead give your limited time since HLB is v far, like 3 hours each way from Hanoi. What time does your flight land and depart?

considering that the traffic is smooth. if not, it could take 4 hours.

even though the road distance from Hanoi to HLB is around 120km (Based on map) but take note that the vehicle travelling speed in Vietnam is only around 40 to 50km/hour.

there are few highways in Vietnam for cars to speed.

The rare occasion whereby the car sped was from my Hotel to Da Lat airport
