The foreign payment fee, charged by Grab’s intermediary payment service - Moca. To enhance convenience, the fee will be adjusted according to the decimal, rounding up for values of VND 0.50 or greater, and rounding down for values below VND 0.50.

During the ride booking or order placement process, you will be able to view more detailed information regarding the fees applied. This will allow you to make an informed decision regarding the total cost of your transaction, including any applicable fees.

Actually hor, vietnam tourist spots very ez to reach one. If u like beach, go Danang/hue/hoi an. Just ask Bing AI your number of days and it will give u a pretty gd itinerary. Grab taxi is readily available and trustworthy. Join 1 day tour for those hard to reach places like ninh binh. Fly vietjet, cheap n good.

Above 2 packages, which is better? Have to go by package as some people in the group die die want package and this trip is about them so don’t suggest FnE. Oh yes, Namho dates for Nov are out but ASA not yet and Namho using SQ. But ASA itinerary seems better. I am ok to wait for ASA dates too if their itinerary is better. Thanks for your help.

Using Trust card to pay for grab rides. There will be a 4% additional charge on payment using foreign debit/credit card.

I did sign up for Grab unlimited with 2 months free subscription, which they give me some coupon, which I use them to offset the 4% charges.

Just to share, I use either cash withdrawal from VPBank or TPBank both zero fees, and trust card for payment. Grab you have the option to pay by cash of 4% really bother you.

Use Wise/Youtrip/Revolut or specifically for Vietnam, Citibank but problem is locating Citibank ATM.
Most ATM charge fee similar to Thailand.

For danang to hue, how to check which are the official carriages? So that can see the seat/bed options and timing.

I'm thinking of making a first time trip to Central Vietnam - flying direct to Danang but intending to cover Hoi An, Bana and Hue. Does it makes sense to do day trips eg Klook to these places out of Danang? Are there other places worth covering? If anyone willing to share some itinerary for Central Vietnam, it will be much appreciated!

You can consider taking domestic flight to phu quoc. I used grab to move around the island. You can also rent a motorbike to explore the island which a lot of caucasian does. The airport toll charge is slightly lower than hcmc.

Took vietjet to and fro. Tmd travelling trip delayed 2 hours, at least informed thru email. Return trip delayed 3 hours, didn't even inform! I reach airport at 7am only to inform at check in that the flight delayed from 9am to 12.10pm! Wtf! Don't they have any care for service?
