just a quick check, do they sell nano sim card for iphone 5 at hcmc airport? the selling of sim card is it at the place where alot of money changer is before you exit the air con area of the airport?

choosing between The Luxe hotel and Blue Diamond Hotel @HCMC District 1 , both 3 star hotels price range for both not far apart. reviews for both seems good.

Any opinions for either?


Apart from these, any other recommendation ? dont want to spend too much on hotel.

I stayed at the Blue Diamond Hotel twice. I got a great deal at Agoda and I noticed that you may get a a better rate direct with the hotel.

The hotel is fine (I paid about $40+/night with 2 breakfasts). The hotel is quite new and the rooms are clean. I got a middle room (read cheapest) which has a window to a inside air-well. Since many hotel room in HCMC do not come with window, I am fine with it. It is quiet without a window facing the street.

There is also a good foot massage in the hotel itself which is a plus for me. The breakfast is good (better than most hotels in the same price range) but don't expect too much as the room is only $40+/night.

I would stay there again.

Had a great trip, and planning for next trip soon

Stayed at Somerset Residence Apartment, got a free upgrade to 3 bedroom suite

Nice place, just that location abit mafan, but with taxi easily available in HCM, not much issue.

Btw, Gold Club at 2 Hồ Huấn Nghiệp, Phường Bến Nghé, Quận 1; Ho Chi Minh City is not bad.

Yes they do sell nano sim card.
but if cause there more exp than inside the town.
fyi the sim card won't come with 3g cause there is no prepiad for 3g like sg here
