Based on what I observed, there are vinyl out there that may warp over time. My friend used it for th bedrooms and he regretted it. 2 issues with it,
1) Warped vinyl flooring - the edges of the vinyl starts bend outwards, which causes it to pop out and may occasionally cause him to kick it which is quite painful. This problem only surfaced after a year or 2 if I recalled wrongly.
2) Some vinyl have rough textures. He found it very difficult to mop the floor, especially he chose the rough type to minimise slippery floor. Mop always rubbed on the rough floor causing dirt and even the fabric on the mop to get stuck.

Price and quality of vinyl flooring vary wildly, that's the problem. Which brand did your friend use?

Not as slippery as compared to HDB tiles. Check out Foriegn Unique Marketing.

My vinyl done by them, in fact the installers are installing now.

Not related or working for them. But must say their service is good. Personally attended by the boss himself, he also personally dropped by to do on site measurement. Nice, humble and hands-on Uncle.

No fancy showroom or whatsoever, if you want to see samples, need to pop by their warehouse cum office in Loyang.

No need to ask for his recommendations on colours and designs, his standard answers will be “I also dun know what you like”. Haha

Vinyl flooring not slippery, just that you cannot wash only mop

Which part of loyang? I’m staying nearby in Changi.
How’s the price? Is it Super Click? LURF or HERF?

Standard click system. I paid 3k supply and install for 5 room BTO (Living Room, hallway and 3 bed rooms). The price is for their CNY promo, not sure about their usual price.

P/s; If you see their FB, the listed promo price is for supply only. The price I paid includes installation.

Do they use Standard click or super click?
How much did u paid?

Is their vinyl flooring safe for infants/toddlers? I couldn't find any related certifications on their website.

I believe Singapore is pretty strict when come to such things. I too have a young child at home.

On the boxes, stated as Singapore Green Label Certified and Floor Score Certtified (i din ask to see the certainty though). You can ask to see the certs, I think they will obliged.

The boss is an “old school” businessman, not very social media savvy, hence you dun see a lot of updates on their FB and website.

Previously, I dun see a lot of information on their FB and website, hence I decided to drop by their warehouse to take a look. Attended by the boss and he got his warehouse worker to help me with the samples. No sales man, no fancy showroom, just a big warehouse cum a small office, hence, I believe they can price their flooring lower.

Other vinyl coy are quoting around $1K more with certifications for the same size bto flat.

Will check with them for more info.

They are definitely cheaper in terms of pricing. Specs wise and place of origin I'm unsure.

IMO, quality wise, it’s similar to other vinyl company that are offering in this price range. The cheaper pricing is due to their CNY promo, not sure about their usual pricing.

I mean it’s not apple to apple comparison if comparing to those of Evorich’s and Metroflor’s range. Of course if want made in US, UK, Korea etc, pricing wise it’s definitely much higher.

For people who are looking around at such price range, no harm checking them out also :)
