Since the number is under your name, the vivifi account should be signed up under your name so that the porting request can be processed with the correct ownership. Your current situation is as good as some random person signed up for a new line and requested to port your number to this new line.

Perhaps the easiest way to resolve this is to sign up for a new vivifi account under your name and proceed with the port in request and cancel the existing temp line that vivfi has assigned to your dad's account after the 2 minimum billing cycle.

I was thinking transfer of ownership might be an option since I did it for free through starhub quite some time back but vivifi charges for it and takes quite some time to process as well. https://help.vivifi.me/hc/en-us/articles/4401905943065-Transfer-of-Ownership
Don't need to transfer ownership.
VIVIFI allows FMNP with transfer of ownership at point of porting.

Anyone faced this issue whereby your port-in mobile number is not under the registered owner?

I faced this issue whereby this port-in mobile number is actually registered under my name but my dad is using this line and when yesterday i sign up for vivifi plan for my dad i used his particulars to sign up instead. Today I saw the Number Porting status failed. I have emailed them about this today but needs to wait until mon. Is there anyway i can faster resolve it on my own?
Since you sign up using your dad's particulars, request for port in under different ownership. Need to scan your IC. An SMS OTP will also be sent to the port in number.

Refer to this guide under section "If the port-in mobile number, currently belonging to another Telco, is NOT registered under your name and NRIC/FIN"

Just applied for vivifi, just to confirm vivifi can use when overseas to make phone call, send out sms etc? any other MVNO with this service. Porting over from Changi Mobile and before that Giga and both doesn't support roaming calls when overseas.

Just received the SIM card via delivery, a little disappointed that the Park N Parcel courier that they used dropped the SIM card into my letter box instead of doorstep delivery...

Is it because you did not lock your letterbox ? If you lock, they have no choice but to bring it up 😌

OK, using Vivifi for abt a month now. Can say very satisfied with the line. Bill is charged to my CC. I think..

Connectivity is good ard SG where my previous Circles failed. Location like a condo next to Changi Airport hanger & industrial area still 4g+ signal.
Sentosa beach area also same.
Most suburb shopping basement is fine.
Never chance to try LCK area when I was at the farm tour, but Tuas area is fine I visit the Tiger Brewery.
Still 4g .

Barring a complicated & confusing Sim card collection, currently Vivifi is the my best mobile experience so far.....

Trying my luck but anyone here currently own both VVF and TPG lines or previously using TPG but changed to VVF, can comment on the signal coverage and stability between the 2? I am currently on TPG and the issue i have is that when at home, my phone's signal bar keeps fluctuating between 2-3 bars and can never get stable full bars. Its the same when i tested across few different phones. And i think this is causing abnormal battery drain during phone standby.

Port over to one of the ST or SH MVNO.

For the average users, these 2 telcos coverage & signal strength are better than TPG & M1. I was on GOMO/GIGA/CMLink/TPG, found GOMO & CMLink most suitable for my usage. Vivifi using the same ST network will suit most users as well.

I'm currently with TPG and Vivifi, using TPG for data and Vivifi ( switching from M1 few weeks ago) for call. Stay at North East area, both of the signals always on full bar at home. I'm using TPG before NEL get the full coverage...

So far so good for these 2 lines😠😠

i believe TPG 4G coverage does improve.. becos they have attain 90++% coverage similar to other telcos also..

to be frank, the $10 plan to be used on ipad is very good..

I also staying North East region. Forever getting 3 bars max occasionally dropping to 2 bars. Call wise no issue while data speeds will occasionally drop drastically and web sites stop loading for 4-5 seconds then go back to normal. I am more concern about weird battery drain i am very sure is caused by the TPG line.

You can get Vivifi Sim card and don't indicate port in. Try it out and if happy then request for port in from TPG.

In a way, it is. Because the signal is weak in your area, your phone is constantly trying to find a better signal, using up more power.

From the sound of things, TPG is really not that suitable for you. You can give vivifi a try, get their lowest plan ($9 for 9GB) & see how it compares. If it works for you, then request to port the number over.
