the unlimited internet (after finish quota) is said to be 256kbps = about 32 KB/s .... means 1 small jpeg photo need a few seconds to load , reasonable since it's nearly 'free'

but can this support whatsapp text message and voice call ? google map ?

yes! plus plan value for money $11 20gb =) sucessfully port over from Simba !
I just submitted request to activate the number porting yesterday from M1 too! Now waiting for midnight to port. The line very stable. I tested the download speed using M1 in my room, 50mbps. But vivifi in my room is 200mbps.

I was initially contemplating between VIVIFI and Zero1 cos Zero1 got 60gb data. But not sure about the stability of the line. So I settled for VIVIFI for now.

good choice .. i never like zero 1 .. so is up to u .. defo singtel network is better than m1. Vivifi binge plan is also 50-100 gb depends on plan you choose. BTW i read zero1 charge for SIM and registration fees.

I burst my limit once and surfing was possible though quite a pain. WhatsApp messaging is no issue since its not necessary to be instantaneous. However voice call over data and Google maps may be a stretch.

Glad I stumbled upon this thread to see so many good reviews. I think 20gb for $11 is good. The most valued for money :giggle:

Oh I think I saw someone mentioned for Zero1, sim and registration fees are free, and can self collect at SingPost tho.

Yup pretty good value. I'm sticking with $9 for 9gb as I usually have access to WiFi.

I actually came from M1 as well. Getting worse and worse.
M1 used to be stable and cheap. But idk why the past one year, I keep having dead spots at some mrt stations, even my room the connection is one bar.

There’s a reason why MVNOs on the M1 network like Changi mobile can be priced so cheaply. I think M1 is basically overloading their network by selling their capacity to other MVNOs.
