Now there is 1-1 for Vivifi family share plan. Does it mean you pay $31.90 for 2 SIM card and you get 120gb data? Seems quite solid. Add in another 2 sim at $5.35 each can cover for a family of 4. Any thoughts from the rest?

Under Terms & Conditions:
  • The additional line is free for 6 months, starting from the 2nd bill onwards. Thereafter, it will be $5.35/mth.
  • Only the first additional line is FREE, subsequent lines are charged at $5.35/mth.

So meaning to say. $31.90 + $5.35 for 2 lines (cap at 120gb) ? Then after 12 months, it is $29.90 + $5.35 for only 40gb?

You stated is the current ongoing promotion.

Based on the Terms & Conditions, it should be as follows:

Example based on 2 lines
First 6 months
$31.90 x 6 months

After first 6 months
($31.90 + $5.35) x ? number of months

VIVIFI Promotion

Any recommendations? Actually I am thinking the share is good if u have kids and elderly. Can all leverage on the same plan
I think it depends on how many lines you plan to sign up and what are their data and call time usage.

Please be aware, I activated my Vivifi Sim yesterday at 530pm.

Was promised that my mobile no. would be ported and working this morning.. it's almost 4 pm and yet I'm still on their temp vivifi number.

no longer can receive any OTPs from banks or Grab or other providers which require OTPs to log in with my mobile phone, damn frustrating, as I use them to buy meals

Sent multiple emails, no reply from them yet.
Should I be worried? Previous porting was smooth and seamless with the other telcos

Is your previous telco sim card/number still usable? If so then it meant porting have not started.

Some telco staff informed me previously that porting must be activated before 3-4pm for process to take place same evening, otherwise will take place only on next working day.

I also looking to port over to VIVIFY next month... but after looking at my needs, wife + me + parents, we all use less than 3GB a month given that my parents and wife always at home... so buying the basic $8.80 plan seems cheaper cos we don't need much data...

But we hardly use the phone for calls ironically... mostly is messages and Whatsapp calls... so not much of an issue there...

Anyway I will try first and see can or not... after all no contract, no obligations to keep the line... I could simply move up to the Plus plan or Giga as you suggested...

pro and cons
giga - starhub
vivifi - singtel
sole location hub is weakee vs singtel

so depending on user location

mostly under sinktel will be more expensive

Advantage of Giga is their unused data can rollover. Also, if you happen to need more data, call or SMS in any month, the add on is cheaper because you can choose to add on only data and not the rest. Vivifi add on is bundled so more expensive because you also have to pay for extra calltime and SMS that you do not need.

I see the recent moves by Giga offering volte and 5G trial encouraging.

Vivifi has one advantage that I enjoy is the change of ownership when port in. My father's line was under his name in Singtel so I had a lot of trouble whenever I had to deal with Singtel about his line. When I sign up vivifi for his line, could change the ownership of the line to my name easily. Need a few extra steps for security purpose only.

I joined a company and wanted to port my vivifi number back to Singtel. Singtel is telling me can’t be done cos it’s within Singtel. Makes no sense but does anyone have an idea?
Hi, we’d like to help you out! Able to share if the mobile service is active and registered under your details? Also, do let us know if you wish to port in to a Residential or Business mobile service so that we can advise you further. Alternatively, you can drop us a message on Whatsapp via help.singtel.com/chat for further assistance. Thank you.

I was on myrepulic. Always got dead spots where I need to use , so quite Sian. Steangely, with circles life which is using M1, the dead spots don't exist.

Vivifi not bad la. I swap over, and one of my SIM card like cannot activate. After 2 or 3 email all replied within a day, they courier me a replacement SIM at no extra fee.
No more dead spots also.
Actually I feel zero1 is the best, almost Singtel like standard. Only problem is , they reply email like FEW MONTHS down the road. Had some dodegy charges, email them no reply, port out liao, then few months later email me say no issues.

If their customer service half of vivifi standard , can use zero 1
