I guess ur unlucky. As for me when I port over from Giga to Vivifi, there's no issue with the first and last name. However, I have a problem with the mobile number not appearing on the Samsung phones at the sim manager menu and I have to edit and rename them manually. Vifivi claimed it is normal for android phones but when I used it on vivo xfold2 (china rom android) phone, the number just appear normally without the need to rename it.but until now the no is not yet ported and very soon i should see the status of number porting failed in system.
damn... porting from ZYM to VIVIFI always failed at once. last year when i port from zym to vivifi, exactly the same problem also. need to contact VIVIFI to get the technical team to fix it.
(somehow i recalled the issue was the first name/last name of VIVIFI is terbalik comparing to ZYM so it will always cause it to fail for the no porting).
I believe you will get it promptly on 1st Dec if ur not porting from singtel, gomo and heya. I am not so sure about zym side. I think so unless vivifi changes their policy recently.funny thing is that VIVIFI did not even give me any free 5G trial access while ZYM is free all the time after trial.

I have no problem porting Giga to Starhub and the mobile number just appear without any need to rename it. I am going to try to port my main number to Simba soon and see whether the no number issue surface and also to test out Oppo Find N3 esim.

becos the no it out from my zym app. so it should be in time not to cause extra charge at zym side for another month of bill.

Number Porting Failed!!!
Line got cut at around 11pm. Number is out from apps too. But status at VIVIFI is FAILED. Number is currently no in use when I try calling.
Already e-mail to VIVIFI.

I do encounter problem when I port back from Starhub to Giga due to document ID (NRIC) messed up by the telco but it was settled within a day. The worst fear was when I port out of Singtel to Giga because the plan at Singtel was not cheap (got my fold 3 and stuck there for 2 years) and the grace time is within 3 days. Fortunately, everything went as planned and no hiccup.
Interesting to find out how zym 5G signal strength performs and how many months will it last...Simba network is poor but manageable and I like the free overseas voice roaming feature, 5G and unlimited call to mobile and data (capped speed after the 20GB).
After zym, I can confirm which telco will be my favorite besides Simba.

yes, if you scared dont install the esim first, until morning when fully port over..
but i fix the imessage issue stuck on temporary nunber quite easily. jus go to settings>phone>my number and remove it, do not enter any number. the phone will ask you to activate imessage and may be charged.. jus click ok and it is fixed...
1st day on vivifi 5G under the 3 Months trial but found that the 5G loading is really slow since morning 10am across several parts of East and North East area.
Anybody experienced this also? Turned off 5G back to 4G and the loading went through immediately.
Yeah once I switch to 4g it load immediately. Was trying to top up my app for food payment at the hawker. On 5g load damn slow so I turn off 5g and then it went thru on 4g immediately. But anyway gona just monitor next few days see how. Maybe is just the location.4g loading ok ?
