wah you port from Vivifi the $15 plan got 5G? thought their FB say only "port-ins from networks not including Singtel, Gomo, Heya, CMLink, Zero1, and Vivifi"

Or is the trick to port over at a physical store haha

Ohh I posted in Zym not in Vivifi. I sign up online for physical sim collection to port over to the $10 what lite plan. Then at the shop when collecting the SIM I mentioned to the staff then the staff, with the confused look, told me can straight port into the roam smart plan. Only Singtel Gomo Heya cannot.

Yeap!

Is 5G on Singtel network very fast and responsive, even with the lower MVNO prioritisation?

I was from Zym, but ported to Vivifi to take advantage of cheaper roaming packs. So there's not really a reason to stay with Vivifi. Especially as Zym, Eight etc have very well-designed websites which in SG is usually an indication of technical capability and adequate prioritisation of technical support.

I can vouch for Zym's responsiveness. But maybe that's why the roaming packs were more expensive. :o
You need roaming for where? Zym $15 give 8 (forever)+2GB (12month) malaysia 1gb TH (12 month)

I was on MyRepublic 4G with M1 then switch to Vivifi 4G first before activating the 5G. I do find 5G having better coverage and responsiveness and that experience remain the same on Zym. Zym had VoLTE 1 month earlier though. YMMV but I think it's worth paying for the 5G package. We're talking $10 4G vs $15~$20 5G. If $10 vs $30-50 I'd say otherwise.

Recall those days where we used to pay $60-$150 for mobile line... Never again hahahaha

Oh ya... roaming wise, can take a look at myrepublic, they have an interesting plan recently that you can sign up adhoc roaming at quite a good rate. Provided your phone supports eSim la

Zym is also Singtel, so my phone may encounter issue with IMS Registration too. I'll try switch to Starhub network because VoLTE was operational using a Giga SIM card.

Giga 4G? I stick with Singtel/MVNO 5G because they use 5G NSA. 5G SA still very very limited. But maybe I should try some day just sign up one month to test.

Yes I tested with Giga 4G. Before the Singtel MVNO hype began, I was initially on Giga too. I jumped to Zym and then Vivifi, but my family members stayed with Giga all this while.

You can try eight, which is using the Starhub network.
Just sign up for the free $0 line for 88 days.

VoWiFi not supported I believe, I enabled the feature on Galaxy A53 and it still shows VoLTE.

anyone on vibe plan noticed your current month's local data usage is cleared to 0? I used about 50GB last week (so left 50GB) and this week they changed to 200GB allowance, I now left with 197GB (so my previous 50GB is cleared to 0)

That's unfortunate. Does that mean when I am connected to wifi and I have a call, my wifi will be disconnected to 4g LTE?

Your WiFi will still be connected but won't be used for the phone call connection.

WiFi calling is useful when the area has low cell reception but have strong WiFi, which your phone will tap the WiFi connection to act as the cell reception.

Ported successfully to Eight Mobile. And in the 4636 screen I do see my own phone number displayed this time, with IMS register and VoLTE enabled.
Vivifi CS replied promptly to my email actually, but they didn't seem keen on investigating the missing number anomaly in the 4636 page.

It was in the email. Additional 100 GB for 12 months.
It seems like Vivifi is matching the plan entitlements for existing users, as new users that sign up under the promotion that started from 8th Aug 2024 are getting 200 GB (extra 100 GB for first 12 months).
