not the first time ship from this merchant but they are getting more and more ridiculous. and sometimes when i receive the package from vpost, i wonder the volumetric weight got so big numbers? the box doesnt seems big as well.

sometimes I wondered too, but after I took the measurements to double-confirm, I realised Vpost is never wrong...damn. :s13:

i always use my measuring tape when they goes by volume and nowadays borderlinx always like to round up to the next inch. rather unfair since its by cm or inch. they goes by inch n round up is unfair. not that i am picky but when everything multiply, the $$$ becomes a few dollar USD liaoz

I was like willing to place my bet on Blinx, but now, reading all these...

So, any CGW's discount codes? Weighing my options again. There's a code for Blinx that lasts till Dec right?

I read this off a blog, "Code 730317 is valid till 31 Dec". Can anyone verify?

If I were you, I'll rather give CGW a chance, 15% off for 1st time users who are UOB card holders, 10% off for DBS card holders.

Been using all 3, Borderlinx ranked the lowest personally.

Reasons are robotic replies, occasionally cock-ups, unfair calculations, taxable location and the list goes on for Borderlinx..it's your choice though.

i measured, also same :(

the box is only 1/4 filled. any one suspect if vpost actually repack into a new box?
because i still find it ridiculous if merchant only pack so little things into 1 big box. i mean this is not the first time i wonder if vpost actually repack into their own box. with those scotch tapes and the stickers..

anyone used hopshopgo.com?
apparently its powered by CGW.

really tempted to use viaddress.com leh. Seems like they charge by weight only. I hate surprises with vpost/blinx when they slap me with HUGE volumetric weight cost.

Awesomo. I am actually leaning towards CGW.

So what's the plus points for CGW, if you don't mind me asking? Thanks for the detailed breakdown though :)

New to VPost

Hi,
This is my first purchase with VPost. Anybody knows how long do they normally take to arrange shipping once the shipping payment is done and confirmed? My package status has been "Awaiting for delivery" since last friday.

TIA

How does CGW compute the GST? Does the S$400 applies to per package like VPost or per consolidated shipping?

CGW and Borderlinx = per shipment (total value <= $400) to sg, different from vpost.

Beware, CGW charged me GST even though the actual item value + my shipping costs paid to them less than $400. They use CIF (cargo+ insurance + freight) and have their own formula to calculate freight, and don't use the actual amount. Complained but they ignored me. I have stopped using them since.

Thanks. I am using VPost for the first time. Quite frustrated to see that my package status not changed and not able to track in speedpost. The customer service told me that the package is already shipped and has not reach SG. I have no idea what is the tracking system for, if they do not update. Quite worried if something is cock up at their side.:s27:
