whats yr cholesterol ldl level

Based on the results you've shared from April–July 2026, your latest overall picture is:

TestLatest ResultInterpretation

HbA1c5.9% (30 Jun 2026)Prediabetes range, but improved from prior 6.3%
Fasting Glucose7.7 mmol/L (20 Jun 2026)Diabetic range if persistent, but inconsistent with HbA1c
Blood Pressure116/80 mmHg (Polyclinic, repeated twice)Excellent
Total Cholesterol5.7 mmol/L (20 Jun 2026)Borderline high
LDL4.0 mmol/L (20 Jun 2026)Elevated
HDL1.3 mmol/LGood
Triglycerides0.8 mmol/LExcellent
Chol:HDL Ratio4.4Acceptable, near upper ideal range
ALT33 U/L (29 Apr 2026)Normal
AST29 U/L (29 Apr 2026)Normal
Creatinine84 µmol/LNormal
eGFR97 mL/min/1.73m²Excellent kidney function
Urine Albumin/Creatinine Ratio0.5 mg/mmolNormal, no diabetic kidney damage
Uric Acid451 µmol/LWithin lab range but still higher than ideal for gout
Sodium141 mmol/LNormal
Potassium4.3 mmol/LNormal

Compared to Earlier Results

MarkerEarlierLatestTrend

HbA1c6.3%5.9%Improved
LDL2.0 mmol/L (Apr)4.0 mmol/L (Jun)Worse
ALTPreviously elevated33Improved
ASTPreviously elevated29Improved
BPOn medication116/80Excellent
Kidney functionNormalNormalStable

Important Context

The LDL 2.0 mmol/L result from April was likely still influenced by the atorvastatin you had been taking before stopping it.

The LDL 4.0 mmol/L result on 20 June is much closer to your natural baseline after stopping statin.

This is why I previously concluded that:

The improvement in liver enzymes is likely genuine.

The improvement in HbA1c is likely genuine.

The drop in LDL to 2.0 was probably largely medication-driven.

Your current LDL appears to be around 4.0 without statin.

Holistic Assessment

Strengths

āœ” Blood pressure excellent (116/80)
āœ” Kidney function excellent
āœ” No protein leakage in urine
āœ” Liver enzymes normalized
āœ” Triglycerides excellent
āœ” HDL good
āœ” HbA1c improved

Main Remaining Issues

⚠ Prediabetes still present (HbA1c 5.9%)
⚠ Fasting glucose 7.7 requires follow-up
⚠ LDL 4.0 remains elevated off statin
⚠ Sleep quality remains poor
⚠ Uric acid still relatively high for a gout patient

If I were ranking priorities today:

1. Sleep

2. Glucose control / insulin resistance

3. Clarify long-term LDL without statin (repeat lipid panel in 4–8 weeks)

4. Weight reduction toward ~76–78 kg

5. Further reduction of uric acid

Of everything you've shown me over the last year, your health trajectory is generally moving in the right direction, with the biggest unresolved question now being whether your fasting glucose of 7.7 was a temporary spike or evidence of early diabetes despite the improved HbA1c.

Actually, I am doing this because colorectal cancer is a leading cancer killer.

In Singapore, it is the most commonly diagnosed cancer and the top cancer killer overall. Globally, it has also become the leading cause of cancer death in adults under 50. With early screening, survival rates exceed 90%.
My elder sis suffered anemia, black pencil thin stools with regular constipation.
She shrank 1 to 2 size smaller without dieting, looked like a kid.
Her spectacles became too big for her, so cartoonist.
She changed her diets, lifestyle and outlook on life.
Take things ez, soak in the sun, do walking and do exercises. Do 16 hours imminent fasting after lunch.
She starts her day with taking 1 tablespoon of cold production extra virgin olive oil.
She eats out for breakfast it ensures she selects veggies and also always bring her own parsley or chilli.
For lunch, she will have veggies that combat cancer like fresh tumeric garlic broccoli sweet potatoes leaves Kai lan mushrooms ginger parsley chickpea beef salmon etc
Fruits pineapple blueberries pomegranate etc
She is diabetics and she stopped her statin voluntarily and doctor is considering to take her off her iron supplement.
Food is thy medicine is real n true.
Must eat the right kind of food.
Stop eating out and stop eating all the ready highly processed prepacked frozen food. It is dead food and in the culprit of all our chronic diseases.
Mankind invented dead food for convenience but it kills us.
Just like AI is invented to kill jobs

Actually.. I was awake throughout.

Oh boy. How does it feel? I knocked out pretty hard because I was already sleep deficient prior to the procedure.

My total bill inclusive of the pre op and post op chit chat session was about 80 + 1.5k + 80, so about 1.7k. Should be able to claim through company insurance. You got a good deal.
