Ocean band will take a bit of effort to put on right? Because i tested in apple store it isnt as straight forward to get the strap through the hook due to the ridges on the band

You need to size up your wrist to which hole fits most comfortably. Mine's 5th hole from the strap end and the strap keeper is 3rd hole from the buckle. The slotting in takes a little manoeuvring and rests after the second ridge.

No issues to me wearing and taking off ocean band.

Can’t be as hard as taking on and off the Alpine Loop i guess? I see Youtube videos have to take care taking off the Alpine Loop in case the buckle scratches the watch?

Nope, Alpine Loop putting on and taking off is also easy.

Haha...as the name states, it's perfect for the water and perfect for swimming. I don't dive so the most I'll use it is when swimming.

Trail Loop is designed for endurance sports but the material isn't that suitable for that purpose. Definitely, a lot of perspiration will be involved, so it'll require frequent washing.

Alpine Loop for hiking, cross-country and other outdoors activities. Wet weather and perspiration is no issue but similarly, will smell after some time, so will also require washing. The fabric material will also stain over time due to perspiration.

My colleague complain his Alpine Loop cause some abrasion on his wrist after gym session due to the strap edges. I told him get Trial Loop better, MTL

SS band for formal events/meetings/weddings etc haha. Sometimes for weekend too depending how i dress.

Ocean is the most versatile band i feel. No stress about it getting dirty or sweaty. Just give it a quick rinse and it's good to go again. And chiong band can never replicate the original rubber of Ocean band.
