Outer shell wise, it's exactly the same, only internals are different.

That’s why really not worth it to change. I’m quite disappointed that Apple released AWU 2 just a year later. This model should just release every 2-3 years with ground breaking specs to be considered “ultra”.

Now they are just being greedy by releasing it yearly with some lousy “upgrades” that honestly existing AWU don’t even care about.

I'm also using it too, absolutely love it! Modular Ultra for digital, Wayfinder for analog.

That’s why really not worth it to change. I’m quite disappointed that Apple released AWU 2 just a year later. This model should just release every 2-3 years with ground breaking specs to be be considered “ultra”.

Now they are just being greedy by releasing it yearly with some lousy “upgrades” that honestly existing AWU don’t even care about.

The move from AWU1 to AWU2 is just adding a new chip, new UWB chip and double the storage space as hardware upgrades, everything else remains the same. The 1000 nits brighter screen is claimed as 'new screen algorithms' to enable it to blast to that brightness level. I believe both AWU1 and AWU2 screens are exactly the same, pumped up by the S9 SiP. In general, AWU2 is about 70-80% similar to AWU1.

I've no complaints about the AWU1 and there's also nothing I lacked on the AWU1 that will render the AWU2 a must to upgrade. That being said, I'll just look forward to next year's update instead, touting a rumoured miniLED display, blood glucose monitoring and a new design which would indeed be a more worthy upgrade over the AWU2.

To all ultras users, how frequent you charge your AWU? Once every 2 days.

for now, really happy with the AWU2 battery life. Ard 80% after a day use. Is it normal or only for new watch?

That was a purported feature for future Apple Watches. So if now got blood oxygen feature, does that mean we all including yourself have lungs or blood circulation issues?

Blood oxygen and blood glucose are different mah. Respiratory conditions can happen to anyone but diabetes is a disease that progress over time.

Yah but that's a rumoured feature Apple thought of including it in future Apple Watches. If you're not happy with it can go tell them. People with low blood oxygen levels can lead to serious complications also.
