First, congrats!

The Wifi is more like if you're just connected to your home Wifi but not to your phone and still being able to use it. I usually turn it off.

There's no use for Wifi when you're out. If you want to use it as a standalone device without connecting to your phone, you'll need to have a Numbershare plan. In other words, eSIM enabled.

To turn AOD on, go to your watch app, Display & Brightness, Always On to 'On'.
My Ultra is connected to phone (in turn connected to WiFi) at home, and it has Numbershare plan.

So, it doesn't matter if I choose to turn the Ultra WiFi off completely, right? :o

Doesn’t matter. At home I’m connected the same way and my watch’s wifi is always off. But do remember wifi is automatically turned on once it’s too far away from your phone (BT disconnected).

BT can also be off? I've both on all this time, oh no! :s13:

On the watch BT it says:
Turning off BT disconnects Apple Watch from iPhone. Apple watch can use cellular data if it's enabled. Enabling cellular for extended periods uses more battery.

So...
If I want the watch to be connected 24/7 regardless if iPhone is near or far, which should be on/off? :o

I tend to walk out without the phone for short spans, so something should be turned on 24/7 without me having to remember to at the last minute for the watch's data to kick in?

I'm so confused...maybe that's why I've been having both on all this time 😅

The bottom line is when at home, watch's wifi no need to turn on, just connect via BT to your phone. The wifi is used only when your phone is turned off or out of range, and still able to send and receive data.

Started using Wayfinder face (yup, at last) and dark mode didn't auto change this morning. Read that it happened after a firmware update.

Or am I the only one? :s34:

Ocean band is the best for me. So good i got it in 2 colours.

Its waterproof and wont get smelly unlike the trail loop as i exercise daily. No need to worry about it getting stains from eating laksa!

The colour on my trail loop faded after i washed it with soap aiyo.

Nope. Not an easy colour to maintain for sure.

My yellow ocean band already suffers from colour transfer from certain brands of jeans. It can be cleaned off though

Before I bought my first Apple Watch AW7 45mm, I've never paid >$100 on a watch :s13: and yes, I then went on to buy an Ultra
