Change back to SGD loAnyway to top up wechat/alipay using RMB cash?
I still have a couple thousand RMB in cash. Cash become like quite useless liao.
no need to be so paranoid. so many have tested and confirmed that their WeChat and Alipay work in China. Can we test out the Wechat pay or Alipay in Malaysia? Some bro mentioned that we cannot pay using Wechat or Alipay in Singapore, Can we do so in Malaysia. If there is any hiccup, we still can fix it before going to China.
The Youtrip app does not cover RMB or MYR, can also try to top up the wallet while you are in Malaysia.
exchange rate very bad now.Change back to SGD lo
Yes you have to.Hi, when using alipay, do u need to pay 3% fee when making payment above 200rmb in china?
Wechat didn't work for me. I thot I set up everything in SG but when I am trying to make my first payment in china, I am asked to validate my id/passport. I did it straight away and was prompted that the approval takes up to 3 days. Now is 4th day but no news.
Ali pay on the other hand is ready for all payment. (merchant, train etc).
My suggestion, use ali.
