Kudos to Westone

My W3 kinda kaput due to loose connection. After asking around for help etc, thought might be worth going straight to Westone for advance. They kinda surprised me by offering to take in my W3 and give me a discounted rate for one of their W/UM range with 2 year warranty

I picked UM3xRC and i thought it was better than W3, all in all paid slightly more than the price of a UM1.

Cheers :)

99.99usd for um3x + 40 usd for shipping via fedex priority

Cheers :)

So you're saying your W3 (without warranty?) got a problem. Westone offered you a new UM3X @ USD99.99 (+USD40) if you send the faulty W3 back to them?

So total you paid USD99.99 + USD40 + shipping of W3 back (how much?)?

Yup. It's my 5yr old W3 which kaput. After a few email correspondences with Westone, i decided to send it to them and go ahead with that

99.99 usd is for the um3xrc (w4 was available at about 20usd more) + 40 usd was for them to send it back to me via fedex. Other cost will be the postage for u to send it to them. So its all good , no complaints/straightforward deal and good comms and i got a 2 year warranty out of it

Cheers :)

Should have ask them to ship to CGW instead, 40USD for shipping is overkill.
