actually rjc last yr cut off was 3.5. how i know? half my 4pt frens washed out and half stayed.

thats what i mean by partial 4? cos... part of the 4 pters got in... and even higher ones like 5 got in through appeal...

lol n>? depends on how well u want the approximation to be and the nature of the population. this yr a lvl math very easy, compared to prelim standards at least, though i wouldn't know how it compares w/ previous yrs cos diff format

During my JC , one of my class mates got psle score of 276 from RGS. Her A level result is F,F,E

apparently not in SG...the mode is more like a high B for Math C..
but I guess if they really want to cut off like top 20% A, too many people actually tie at that 20% mark..so end up most into the grade A bracket
Based on past year statistics, more than 50% of the NATION gets A for Math C...
But Phy, Chem, Bio have more natural normal 'distributions'...30+% of the nation gets A

i must be the stupid ass with horrible A level Maths C score. Perhaps the bottom 10% sigh

Anyway, I just do not believe that someone of 276 calibre for PSLE would score only FFE for A levels? This person must then be too smart to screw up her life....

I have a classmate for pri 1 & 2. During pri 5 & 6, he went to EM2 while I went to EM3. During my 1st day of Sec 1, I see my classmate at the same class. I thought I went to wrong class but at the end, he is in N(T) with me.


My friend primary school classmate is in EM3 with him but due to my friend classmate PSLE score well, he is the only one went to N(A).


I have another classmate (The tpye who is really slow & weak in studies) who repeat his pri 6 due to he fail his PSLE badly but when he show me his GCE 'N' result, he is much better then mine.

Know 1 guy got 270+ for PSLE, went to the best sec school in Singapore.

End up tio police case, breach probation, then expelled and promptly demoted to sec 2 (he was sec 3 at that time) in some neighbourhood school.

Another guy from that school also got 270+. 'O' Levels set record I think almost 30 points. Heard he went DB in NS.

i gt a pri friend, his psle gt 230+ then i gt 170 nia la sad to say but during O he fail emaths and science and had to retake. now in poly he gt gpa much worse than me. many of my pri sch friends are like tat gt 220++ dun know y in poly get bad grades.
