Yep, know quite a few people who did that :s13: :s13:

A lot are savvy young investors and this could have driven up demand especially for the smaller one and two bedder at new launch resulting in our resilient prop market. The good old belief that property investment is a safe haven in Singapore persist.

If u entered the stock market during COVID, u would be sitting on huge capital gain, can channel it towards the resilient property market.

Still holding a big bunch of shares of the property developers. Can't be more happy for rich sinkies such as 发哨子 to snap up more new launch units. Will offload at year-end.

Haha time to venture abroad for ur shares.. Tesla, NIO, SEA are some to consider so u may get a chance to snap a unit at Reef @Kings Dock, and maybe u won’t be too sour when others pick up new launch units haha.

Yes, I have a little bit of those.

We made our moves, so don't really bother about what rich sinkies buy anymore. Feel free to advertise the new launches as you always do. :)

For me personally, as I mentioned many times - I am still studying. Though downpayment is more or less settled, not possible to get a loan till I graduate.. So hopefully, rich euphoric sinkies keep on buying today till .... .... :s8::s8:=:p

No joke, I know many people who loaded up during that period, I guess there was already an expectation that US fed will support the market

I got free almost half a house also lol - just hanging in there!

Why would you want people to buy? You should be hoping that no one buys and Clavon drop price to $1200 psf. Or Clavon buyers default and return their units as loan cannot be met.

If only a few people buy overpriced units, very very few units will end up under the hammer. So, the more, the merrier. :)

I now encourage the agents to instill further excitement and euphoria into rich sinkies. They may help me to afford a larger unit 2 years down the road. So, everyone, don’t miss the boat and pls snap up all units at the upcoming mega launch!

Definitely not so much. What one can afford also depends on how much cash he/she has. I am inclined to buy a resale so there is also immediate rental income.

Haha.. logic, with inflation creeping by, but I think hola mentioned previously that he is awaiting a cushy job post graduation.

Can’t find passer’s comment. Perhaps he deleted.

To passer: what is inflation? Central banks are fighting so hard for inflation with little effect.

And the “cushy” job is coming closer and closer, starting with a “cushy” internship next year. Anyway, I just need a normal job to afford a comfy 2 bedder apartment.

Buying a house is really not tough at all. But sadly, sinkies want to pay more and more for it and leave less for other luxuries in life. Too bad for all. And huat to developers.

Haha yeah I thought I didn’t wanna be a dampener. But noobkia put it in perspective for u. Happy that u have a cushy job awaiting u, by then maybe u can get a subsale unit at Reef at Kingsdock (ur fav locale)! Think 25xxpst should get a two bedder there:)
