By the way the drams I watch are mainly US dramas so maybe someone can easier to advise which to take.
Sorry for posting 2 times.
Sorry for posting 2 times.
Unfortunately IDA don't have actual bandwidth or throughput stats for above 200 Mbps plans. For now am leaning towards ST after reading so many customer feedback on the various ISPs offerings unless MR is able to service all the installation complaints and improve the service uptime.
Thanks everyone for the advise.
Will try search online and read up this weekend (esp. the IDA research part as recommend)...
I am not really tech savvy (More like IT idiot) and like i said, the main internet usage is for HP / Surf Net / Watch Dramas / Cpu Gaming (A bit)
As much as it might sound "bad" for VQ, I'd rather the normal consumers stay away from VQ. VQ support is able to provide very fast response to tech savvy ppl as (VQ+ the tech savvy customers) are able to narrow down the issue very quickly. Not to forgot, andrew prowling the forums assisting users almost 24/7 for technical issues
I watch Hulu and not Netflix. I also have coffee machine at my sg office.
I have nothing to say man… just surprised you don't seem to be keen to try it out before passing judgement on it
I am not available in sg. IDA report is online and open to everyone so definitely correct or else isp will sure make noise or even take action.
I have seen some VQ user who are involved in IDA's research, sharing their speed too. I also talk to some user myself. Based on my research I believe IDA's report is correct.
Don't need argue with Henry. He's affiliated with singtel. Just search his previous posts.
If can afford just go for VQ. They are and will be the best for the foreseeable future.
If you're slightly tight on budget then go for MR (I'm using it). Good performance, good pricing BUT unreliable.
Don't bother too much about whatever report you see online.
I have no doubts that your claims aren't backed by your data, I'm just worried about your data being incomplete![]()
IT really depends what is your main concern.
If price is then unfortunately VQ nothing comes close to any of the ISP. I think any of the traffic light ISP price war I believe M1 may still win I think.
If decent quality service then look no further as VQ is still serving a very niche market as many has mention. I have introduce many of my friends onto VQ they have never complaint. Except for a major downtime earlier.
So what is it going to be is purely up to what's your main concern. Hope that helps.
Please share your speed test to hawaii. Thanks.
Honestly for local speed VQ is fast but for international speed is so so only. If u like VQ, can stay with it. In my option, do not think it is so good.

Either ST is faster there or his metal work has brought him to HonoluluWhat is so special about Hawaii? All the US major servers are located there?
