Yeah GCB is too cheap now. But govt have to give permission to buy.

IMHO, cos most of us adults NEED a car. What we might not need is to OWN one. As long as you need to take taxi or grab or phv, you need a car. You just don’t need to own one because maybe it’s just once a week or something

But some people don’t want to take the chance of needing a car and having none available at that time so they bid for it.

And of cos, some people just want a car for person enjoyment and at the end of the day, we only have one life

They will still need a quota system to add / remove cars and achieve a balance.

Make ownership too "cheap" end up alot of cars in carparks and on roads.

If no COE ... 500% ARF and $50 per km driven as calculated via ERP ?

End of the day financial pemalties will still be around one form or the other.

Should keep COE and increase ARF and ERP fees as well as GST and income taxes to generate more revenue streams from the shrinking workforce (23/25 to 55 years old) to support the government initiatives to support the aging elderly population (55 to 99/110 years old) with their increasing medical and healthcare needs?
