Don't ask just buy. Profit from savings.

Should note that discounts are only substantial if you know how to bargain (or regular customer like Roy ;D) newbies going to tradepac may enjoy little to no savings (and even pay more)
I am a semi regular and have never been able to get the kinda discounts Roy is gettingeven Raman is getting harder to deal with haha.
These guys don't declare gst and yet you cannot be sure you get things 7% cheaper than elsewhere. Their margin maybe even higher![]()
I buy till sian in order to get a previllege. But whenevee i disclose most of my prices during rig recommendations is usually not my price range that i can get. Its usually slightly higher. Its up to individuals on how to bargain with them.
No doubt not everything is cheap. But for sure things like RAM, HDD, SSD are usually standard pricings which not much profit to make up from. And usually those type if one goes get very little discounts from them unless theres a in house promo.
Another type of discounts usually are the overall bundle pricing of the entire rig. Those entire rigs type are usually given listed pricing with further smaller discounts on such things as GPU, PSU, cpu + mobo combo, certain brands casing.
Usually stuffs such as AIO cooler or heatsink cooler usually are all $5-$30 off srp. Which is great. But limited selection and choices to choose from.
Things like wifi products are also good pricing as compared to other stores. Such things like routers, receivers etc are usually $10-$30 off srp.
Usually if one buys a full rig from them, get quotes from them. But of cause, dont just accept first quote. Usually first quote is the disaster pricing. You agree, you get chopped. You disagree and walk off, if they interested to do business with you, they will entertain you again and do a proper quote.
After the 2nd quote, talk to them again. Ask them more on what else can they discount. What can they do to make it attractive to you. They usually will close one eye on products that has bigger margin such as GPU, Casing, PSU. This 3 items they can do further discounts. The rest quite hard to get discounts. At most $1-$2 off.
But their pricelist before discount is already cheaper though I must stress most items, but not all are cheaper.
TP does overseas mass buying/parallel imports. Then sell to you and can earn profit because its cheaper than local warranty stocks sold by other retailers. Warranty can be an issue as you have to find them and they give you the black face.
Since parallel import, might as well buy amazon or newegg usa.
When TP doesnt declare GST, does it affect consumers? For me i just care about warranty.. other things to me is the same as other shops so i just go for price.
Thats not true. They do have parallel import stuffs. And they ONLY sell if you ASK for it. Else its all our distro stocks. Such as corbell, avertek etc.
Hmm I maybe wrong but I feel biz grams price list is cheaper for things like gpu than tradepac and tp usually gives srp pricing, with the onus on buyer to nego.
This is one aspect ironic about them thats great for us buyers.
Very sharp eyes. Yes. True. They protect their pricing by puting near srp. BUT, they are hunters. Fyi, they kept Bizgram daily pricelist and compare. And the moment they see bizgram selling at that price, they will do an undercut.
don't waste time....cheap price list is to lure pple to their shop, when wanted to purchase then they will say must buy with system or other stuffs....
i rather go PCT and ask for discount when paying in cash....
