to survive and retire is minimum.
Cannot survive ppl will revolt. Cannot retire ppl will revolt.
You want a stable society these 2 things are basic minimum to be met.

Work hours must be tolerable of course. Dont say work 25hrs/day, 8days/week, 13mths/year BS for minimum income

between $1.3k to $1.5k per month and before CPF.
With option to increase if market/economy allows in future.

Not too low for those trying to make month end.
Not too high for employers to kpkb.

Minimum wage should be used as a tool to combat poverty, not to improve people's lives.
A good amount would be an amount that benefits as little citizens as possible or even 0 because if the policy benefits citizens it means we have failed as a nation.

Minimum wage should be pegged to the lowest wage currently paid and reviewed every few years to adjust for economical conditions and inflation.

I think a good amount would be 500
