Let me go get a payslip from a ntuc worker in Ntuc Fairprice, but this worker is in retired re-employment scheme, his salary slip is in English and on and off he will show me to interpret for him. $4 per hour basic salary

Minimum wage should be used as a tool to combat poverty, not to improve people's lives.
A good amount would be an amount that benefits as little citizens as possible or even 0 because if the policy benefits citizens it means we have failed as a nation.

Minimum wage should be pegged to the lowest wage currently paid and reviewed every few years to adjust for economical conditions and inflation.

I think a good amount would be 500
