The video's date is dated Apr 2, so it clashes with the MTW 2's release date. Besides, for a review that compares across brands, its risky to include a earpiece that had only be released for only 2 weeks. Some reviewers may feel that its too early to have a more comprehensive review.

There may be issues not reported, or there may be firmware/app updates that make it even better.

I remember seeing a very early review that its app is not even ready. Once you customised the control, you cannot set the default arrangement back (ie, the 'Back to default' function is not working). Eg, if you change the scheme to exclude volume control, you cannot get it back. Not sure if the app issues had been resolved.

Or maybe it was still not sold yet. Ok my bad. Just wanted to see their opinion on the MTW2. Anyway mtw2 already have 2 firmware updates. So functions are stable.

Thank you.:)

You are welcomed :)

If you are considering, Lazada's sales price is currently $59 where shopee's US sets are selling at $88. Personally I don't feel its worth paying $29 just for the english voices. The chinese voice do sound pleasant. :D

The reported control customisation issues of the app had been resolved? That's nice.

Ahh... then maybe it will be worth it for you.

There are some non-chinese speaking buyers from other countries who bought the china set from aliexpress, etc and got accustomed to the chinese voice as they can, more or less, guess what they meant. Cos' usually voice prompts are only those few operations/meanings, and they are not entirely critical in using the earpiece. The box and manual do have english explanations for the china sets.

Oh if manual got english explanations then can consider. Thanks.

That's why I never bought an E12 for review. Most reviews mentioned boosted bass which I not a fan of already. Truedots is good for the price, but I found it too bassy warm for my liking too. Most ppl probably find that more "fun" but that's why I still prefer the GT1 Plus. So I feel like if I don't care about the app, and the extra stuff, just purely on sound, it might not be a huge upgrade. But we'll see. Still got some time to think about it. Haha.

haha. 4/5 stars still okay la. basically the same as my thoughts lor. Good, but not mind blowing. He didn't find the treble sibilant, but I and a few other reviews i've seen do, including crinacle.

There are better sounding TWS in that price tag or cheaper, but KZ S2 is not bad too, plus the case design is nice, and got USB-C. So give and take a bit lor. haha.

when i see the reviews from techtablets, gamesky, el jefe, it almost feels like they're listening to a different pair of TWS. techtablets is taking a more consumer facing approach, and typically focus more on phones and stuff, so can kinda understand if he hasn't tried that many stuff. but gamesky for example is a TWS/Audio focused channel, and i feel like he's just hyping it up way too much. almost like a marketing video. Also like El Jefe, both have the same spiel about how realtek chip focus more on Audio?! nani?

Used to watch their stuff, but now don't feel like their reviews are not suitable for my taste anymore. They tend to be more forgiving, almost like they're trying not to offend any company. 1 video that stood out to me is that Gamesky's review on the Mifo O2 in which he sounds almost positive about it. Bought it myself to try because of that, complete garbage.

Even for usability stuff his MTW2 video had a bunch of mistakes too. Which is sad, cause his channel is really popular for TWS stuff. But i guess it also somewhat shows that most consumers aren't as critical about audio stuff.

For audio stuff, i think zpolt and Prime audio are good channels if you want more audio focused reviews.

Yeah, ends in 22hrs so plenty of time for those who wanna consider
The red version is $74.
But this is the Chinese version.

Anyway for me, warranty not tat important cos it's the same if I get stuff like these direct from taobao

I buy from Lazada, maybe can kpkb to Lazada if it's faulty

Sent from Google PIXEL 2 XL using GAGT

I got mine locally from Souky on Lazada during Lazada Birthday sales. With $18 off $100 Citi card and $6 off $40 Lazada voucher. Add on other stuff so around $62.

Galaxy buds+ latest update seems to have improved the mids, where I thought it was too thin previously. Also sounds better powered now, previously felt it was underpowered to drive the speakers.

Last time I only checked out techtablets for their reviews of MIC tablets. Didn't know they review earpieces also until u mentioned. Lol.

Really different reviews between yours and Gamesky's review of Mifo O2. :s13:
But still, for a earbud that cost only $30, it looks darn good. Even its packaging.

Only recently a bit more for techtablets ba. i only watched his phone reviews. haha. Even Scarbir for his KZ S2 review wrote, "The headline above this article is a direct response to several YouTubers. Sigh - these are NOT the best sounding wireless earbuds under $50." lol.

I don't really mind these types of non-isolating earbuds if they still sound good. But these are just so bad compared to $2 earbuds like the Vido. :s13: But design is still chio of course. I've seen really good reviews for the Mifo O7 though.

Its not a very bassy earpiece. But for the price, the sound and features it offers is out of the norm.

Sadly, that connection is the critical killer for this earpiece. Its the same in my case for both truedots and e12 ultra. My basic expectation is, if I go out of range, it should connect back seamlessly when I am back in range. Eg, when I am streaming tv show on my laptop and I went to kitchen to get a drink (with the earbuds in my ears), when I come back, it should connect back seamlessly.

Both truedots and e12 ultra has difficulties in doing this. Even if its eventually connected, they either take a while for the sound to appear, or 1 side no sound. That's qcc3020 chip for you....

sound I'm ok since it's an entry TWS.
so usually assume distance is ok ( inside pocket ), it would be OK after stabilize?

Seems like the mtw2 is available on Lazada official store. No waiting. Chatted with the customer service and they say it's ready stocks.
