Sony is using BT to BT from master to slave so there is still a 0.5sec lag. It is a limitation of the technology.
oh ok thanks for the explanation. i guess other BT headphones are using diff tech.

The E8's transparency mode is versatile. You can completely shut off, combine both ambient sounds and music, and of course tune in just to your environment sounds. You can adjust everything via the Beoplay app including tonetouch, in which you can adjust your sound settings such as bass, mids, highs, treble all to your liking.
Today my E8 takes a break while my AirPods takes over.
E8 tempting.
Perhaps can get the E8 for daily use.
Then wait for the Jabra Elite Active 65t to come and use that for running.
Or am I too crazy to think that way?
Any tried using with Samsung Gear S3?
Must use the beoplay app to combine both ambient & music?
I have not tried the app, using it out of the box, default when transparency mode is on, media audio is not heard.
Yes only can control from app if need to select. Like myself I chose transparency off so your earbuds will remember the setting and will toggle on and off whenever you tap the left earbud. If you select other setting, then similarly your left earbud will remember that setting until you change it again.
Okay thanks. I think I will leave it as that for now.
I think your money's too much.
Haha.
Don't get me wrong. There will be 3 persons sharing the cost of the ownership. We'll be "time-sharing" the items.
But very good introduction on the e8.![]()
Hmm... So it's like a rotation among the three of you. I personally won't share earphones also due to hygiene reasons.
We were thinking of each of us having our own ear tips.

How is it compare between Bragi Dash pro and Beoplay E8? Contemplating between these 2..
https://thewirecutter.com/reviews/best-true-wireless-headphones/I have yet to try E8. But this review put 65t as betterhttps://thewirecutter.com/reviews/best-true-wireless-headphones/
At the end of the day, best is subjective. So just go try out the listed few popular options and get whichever suits you best.
Gunning for Jabra's elite active 65T, anyone has any idea when would it be released?
