I have been searching online but can't seem to find much difference between the upcoming elite active and the sports. wondering now should i just get the sports or wait.

Anyone owns the sports? Does the app allows tweaking of the music? Can connect to 2 phones concurrently? By taking out the right bud, will the music pause?

elite sports can't connect to 2 phone at the same times...music equaliser is there... 65t...sq abit too bright for me...

I find sports is lean toward warm side..E8 is more on neutral..sq for me...I think elite sports > E8 > 65t

Comfort wise 65t > E8 > elite sports..

Read my post above. I do own a pair, but sort of have up on it due to the left bud intermittently getting "faulty". Needed to reset it using a reset pin before it will work again. Happened 4 times in a space of 3 months.

Now using wireless headphone.

Anyone with Jabra Elite 65T can share how to switch devices? For e.g you are connected to a smartphone and tablet and you want to connect to your PC. Do you have to disconnect the tablet first then connect to the PC or can you just try to connect to the PC and either the phone or tablet will lose it's connection?

Thinking of getting a pair

I have one and no issues using it. I like the 4GB internal memory, I wear it to run without carrying my phone. Updated firmware lets you adjust preset sound quality over the Samsung Gear app.

It has internal sensor to record activity, which you can sync to the phone after the workout. Elite 65t does not have this. Elite Sport needs to connect to phone to track.

Other than the Bluetooth quality issue, I'm happy with IconX, so I use it as direct playback.

Personally speaking, I went with the Sport because it is IP67 rated and the extra warranty specifically covers sweat damage. The 65t extra warranty only covers dust and water.

Same reason I went for the Jabra Elite Active 65t - IP56 (Sweat & Dust)

The Sudio Niva earphones arrived.

First impressions:

Sub-bass is impressive, kick-bass is pumping, mid bass has good presence but not too overpowering, mids is not that detailed, low-treble is controlled, not too harsh nor sibilant. High-treble is not too sparkling. Overall sound staging is comfortable, room-like, not too flat.

The plastic quality of the earbuds is not premium, the charging case feels like it's a mock-up unit without heft. The product photo looks nicer. I recommend getting the black one, but the white is pretty and great for gifting.

The sound quality is enjoyable, not too coloured. The bass is not as heavy as SOUL X-Shock. I prefer the tuning of the Sudio Niva, bassy enough but does not cloud over the treble.

Sudio Niva has more bass than Elite 65t, but Elite 65t has clearer treble.

For those who have sharp ears, the Sudio Niva might lack that extra "hi-res" quality, but its treble is not too bright, the bass is strong but does not bleed into the treble.

I've been getting problems pairing my E8 with my iPhone 7+ after updating the firmware. Is anyone experiencing the same issue? Need to unpair and reset the earbuds. Kinda frustrating at times!

No problems here paired with my X. Also upgraded to 5.6.0 and works normally. If you’re still experiencing issues, trying unpairing and re-pairing.

Oh... actually there's no difference.

I just usually recommend people start their purchases at smile.amazon.com because, for every purchase you make, Amazon will donate a small percentage to a Charity of your choice.
