Yeah, i saw bad reviews for the old bluetooth adapter actually, so didn't get it. but recently saw the review of the updated model and it seems better. So I ordered one last week already. Still waiting for it to arrive.

So far for the ones I've tested, I would say yes? Even compared to my cheapo ZSN Pro which I paid like $15-16 for only on shopee. haha. Even compared to more expensive ones like Galaxy Buds, Outlier Air, xFyro xS2 (which totally isn't worth it looking back), I find the ZSN Pro better. But still the same disclaimer about sound quality being subjective. I tend to like brighter sound, some may not. haha.

I've not tried anything QCY though. For me after trying the really budget option like Redmi Airdots, I personally would rather pay more for something like the Mpow M5/T5. For me, it's something I use everyday, so while I wouldn't splurge on like the Sonys, Klipschs, Jabras, I still want something that's at least enjoyable.

But for those who don't really care about sound, or use them only once in a while, redmi airdots will probably be good enough already. so it depends ba. haha. And if you ask those who really particular about audio and willing to splurge, they'll probably say the WF-1000xm3 is super worth it. No right and wrong really. The only way to know for sure is to try it yourself actually. haha.

i 2nd tat.kz zsn + bluetooth cable is almost perfect for me.
i tested sony wf-1000xm3... honestly is lose to my kz.:s13:

but those neckbuds style too inconvenient for running, and also more prone to sweat damage so I can't survive on KZ + Bluetooth cable alone. haha. But it will be more convenient if going out but then don't want to bring a bag around. Can just hang around neck or stuff into pocket. Most TWS earbuds not very pocket friendly. :s13: Can't wait for the BT cable to come. haha.

Which cable did you buy? The newer version one? I don't run with these cables, in fact, I am currently using a Bluedio TN2 which is neckband version. :s13:

SQ is definitely good. But the case like cheapo leh lol. Mifo o5 case was so solid in metal.

The bass is damn gao lat. In my xiami app, i normally have to adjust the equaliser settings to achieve the desired sound but with the mpow t5 i just off the effects and it still feels so solid. OMG..its good.

you mean when the case battery is depleted, when you put the earbuds in the case it doesn't turn off automatically? That might be common though, cause Creative Outlier Air also like that if i recall.

Same issue with Anker Liberty, think it's a common issue.

Alamak my outlier one spoil after 10 months. Wont charge and wont turn on.

Such a shame. I find it quite good for running.

Anyone can recommend a similar neckband style bluetooth earbuds for running?

Jaybird tarah or x4/3? But for jogging why not consider going for true wireless option? I find it easier to jog with actually.

my honest opinion..probably not.

Mifo o5 build quality both casing and earpiece is 5*.. feels very premium and mifo doesn't stick out the ear that much (smaller in size), also it allows control of volume directly on the earpiece.

Also the bluetooth range in the mifo o5 is damn good. I can be at one end of the gym like 10-15m away and it still doesn't drop. I'll try the mpow t5 later.

The latency in speech to video(watching music vids) in youtube is quite obvious and pretty irritating haha

Aptx + BT 5 shouldn't have any issues with latency, you try to play with the audio settings.

My Mpow M5 just arrived.

Playing around with it. So far I like the sq much better than Sabbat E12 although still a tad muffled. Now just hope that I don't get the numerous distortions that I had with the Sabbat.

Mpow M5 can control the volume as well.
