Oh so they updated the chip to Qualcomm 3020. Did the battery life improved?

Just got this for my son. Not bad. All touch control and includes volume control. True wireless plus and balanced sound. Battery life is about 6 hours as claimed.

Super value for money. Sound quality is good also.

Yeah. If really want to dig bones in egg:

1) The charging speed seems slower, not just the case (since its still using micro usb), but the buds also.

2) When taking the buds out from the case and it auto pairs with the last connected device, occasionally left earbud has no sound, ie, it went to mono mode instead of dual stereo mode.

Not sure if its an issue with tws+ earpieces, as some people also reported similar behaviour with sabbat e12 ultra.

Disconnecting and connecting again resolves the issue. I tried factory reset a few times, but it still happen occasionally.

It's pretty good for $39.

after watching afew tws youtube video and buying them.. those under $80 they always say "worth the value".
actually it is worth the value BUT.. THE SOUND MAY NOT BE WAT U WANTED.
for my case in the end, my ears like jabra 75t the most and of cux $2xx.

Yeah. Everyone has their own preferences, whether its sound quality and signatures they like, comfort and the need for a fit that is suitable for sports.

However, the mainly thing is, is it worth paying that extra for this upgrade in sound. Its a question that only the buyers themselves can answer. Very often, those $200+ or even $300+ has some compromises, like phone quality, connection stability and even comfort/build quality.

Having experienced with momentum (which of course I like the sound very much), I won't be choosing tws like an audiophile now since the technology is not there yet to truly replace the quality wired earpieces. ANC is also not there yet to replace the real ANC headphones.

Personally, to me, pay expensive also has to compromise something, pay budget also has to compromise, so I rather pay budget for what I need and wait.

The main draw for tws is mainly total wireless freedom, suitable for using in commute and sports.

At home, I still go back to wired earpiece for listening pleasure.

Yeah lor.. I use aptx and aptx HD Bluetooth. I know the limitation of aptx..no point spending more for the sound quality.. U can get a limitation from aptx .. Aptx HD u still can squeeze more but got limitation also.. Now no tws yet.. I even connect my TG334 on it.. It dun sound as good as using senfer 4in1 sia.. So the power output of Bluetooth still is the limitation for the drivers to shine. U want the best SQ is going LDAC now.. U want budget then haylou GT1 plus or tronsmart spunky beat at $30 is can't beatable.

So SQ another crucial thing is the seal.. Try with other brand buds.. The default one might not make the earbud shine.

How is this compare with QCY T1 ? Using T1 for about 2 years still going good.

I also used QCY T1, bought long long ago. For a $20+ earpiece, its so durable.

So here is my personal comparison (Remember we all have different ears :s13:).

- Truedot sound better, not sure if its due to the aptx codex.
- Truedot has better battery life.
- Truedot is a lot more portable, case is very light and compact.
- Truedot has better call quality
- Truedot seems to have better connection stability and range (T1 sometimes left bud sound will break for a while from my experience)

- To me, T1 is slightly more comfortable
- To me, T1's default eartips has better seal. Noise isolation seems better.
- T1 connects slower when removed from case, but stable, as in both earbuds will be connected. Trudot connect fast, but as I said earlier, sometimes left earbud no sound. Need to disconnect and connect again to go to dual stereo mode.

Oh yah, truedot has power saving feature. Its neither good or bad, but I feel its a bit too aggressively done.

Eg, I paused music play back, take truedot out from my ears and put on the table to go to the washroom. When I come back, the earbuds already turned itself off.

Even if I do not pause playback, and wear my earbuds to get a drink in the pantry. When its out of range for a while, it will also turn itself off.

Qcy t1 has a bigger bass and more fun sound. This one has a flatter sound but still V shaped. Truedot also has longer battery life and volume controls.

Lobang:

Haylou GT2

https://shopee.sg/Haylou-Official-S...uction-IPX5-Waterproof-i.213519181.7513359808

Follow the shop and get a $6 coupon with no minimum purchase.

That means its $17.50 for GT2 with free shipping. Previously the shop gives $10 coupon and I got GT2 for $13.50. Still, at $17.50, its an incredible value. It probably won't meet the needs as a main tws earpiece, but as a backup in case the main earpiece ran out of juice, since its also highly portable.

Sound quality is great as well.

It supports LHDC codec, apart from AAC and SBC. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/LHDC_(codec)

Some reviews:

Last week the shop ran out of stock, seems that they had restocked.
