Any users or comments on bone conduction type headphones for runs or workouts? Am looking at the Creative Outlier Free pro since its the cheapest in the market with built-in storage for storing music so i can go without a phone or DAP during my workouts. Main concerns are fit or comfort of wearing and hows the sound quality since this type of headphones are not physically in your ears. Not sure but feels kinda gimmicky.

To me it's a literal copy of the Nothing Ear.
Going to their website and they literally have a clone of harman kardon speakers and that KS1 wire earpiece seems oddly familiar……
Not be to against SG company, but this is what i expect from a "SG" company
- Start a company
- Buy and rebrand products
- Sell it as "designed in SG"
- Hire influenzas to promote it
- Get warned by authorites

Oh wait…… wrong company

prism or sterra? hahaha

Hey guys I'm looking for earphones around Singapore $100

Been googling a lot and am considering these models;

- Realme Buds Air 5 Pro
- Oneplus Buds 3
- Soundcore Liberty 4 NC

I'd love to find out which one should I go for (or any others that you'd recommend) and should I be getting them from Shopee/Lazada or Amazon/Taobao?

https://versus.com/en/anker-soundcore-liberty-4-nc-vs-oneplus-buds-3-vs-realme-buds-air-5-pro

very similar, just a matter of which specific attributes matters to you. want LDAC, then only Realme Buds Air 5 Pro and Soundcore Liberty 4 NC etc.

Any recommendation for non in ear earbuds with 2.4 or 5ghz connection via USB dongle ? Preferably less than $100, don't need the best quality or ANC. All the ones I have seen are in ear types

I want something like this but non in ear

At this point, i doubt anyone passisng through can really recommend you anything since on ear buds + dongle is damn niche.
Can this work as an alternative? Amazon link

Any reason why it must come with usb dongle? Since on ear buds are getting common now

It's fine. I've decided to go for an USB lavalier mic as a workaround.

Hi guys, was looking around to get like 2-3 sets of earphones.

Airpods Pro 2 is quite out of budget, probably this is one of the best choice maybe.

Some things really really needed.
1. Noise cancellation as i frequently have to take calls on this
2. Sound Quality for Music, i am more of a bass and tremble person
3. Multi point connectivity will be great
4. Also i usually take flights and sometimes long flights, comfort level for 6-8hrs quite important as well

Preferred to seperate between one for taking calls and one for purely music.

These few choices i selected based on the videos i saw
1. Anker Liberty 4NC ~ 100
2. Anker R50i - really budget, ~SGD 30 - seems good choice.
3. Sound Peats Clear - mainly for wife as she use it to listen normally. Usually she not take calls for it.

Is there a place that can test out R50i, Liberty 4 NC, Sound Peats Clear?

And also in this price range, any suggestion for something perhaps better?

Many thanks

it is not easy to test in ear tws because you need some form of customisation before getting the best result. e.g size of ear tips, custom eq... etc.

i suggest you take liberty 4 nc, it should meet your 1-4 requirements.

if you dont need anc, then may want to consider baseus wm02, about $15. comes with custom apps for eq. sound wise, not as good compared to 4 nc, but very good in the price range.

thanks bro, i was looking to alternate. 1 purely for music, and 1 for taking calls. So probably the one for music, i think can be something moderate. R50i or any other alternatives?

Is Liberty 4 NC better than R50i in terms of sound?

Will be great if anyone can share any recommendations

IMO, sound is subjective so there isn't really better or worse.

Since you are interested in testing, you can maybe check this store out
https://www.stereo.com.sg/

Previously I heard they allowed testing but I'm not sure now.

1. Noise cancellation as i frequently have to take calls on this
2. Sound Quality for Music, i am more of a bass and tremble person

I only have the 4 NC so there might be some sort of bias-ness. Probably better to wait for others to weight in as well

1) Yes, not bad ANC with different levels 1-5 and auto. 1-3 makes a lot of difference but i cant really tell the difference in ANC beyond 4. Normally just left it on AUTO on my trips (flight / mrt / bus)

UPDATE : i think what you mean was the CVC for calling right? Not hearing noise cancellation?
If so, never really tried calling with it before. Maybe can also look at Jabra

2) Subjective, but the good thing is there is built in EQ so you can adjust it. Or you can try the HearID then adjust it from there.
3) Yes, supports multi point though wasn't a use case for me hence haven't tried it
4) Wore it during my flight to japan and fro, used about 4-5hs and had some juice leftover for the taxi ride / train rides.

1 purely for music, and 1 for taking calls
I do this though for the call one, its mostly for office teams call, so i use a cheaper soundpeats bud

thanks man, yes call quality quite important. I was whole day seeing youtube videos and such, but all is quite mixed reviews.

Found a few in list for testing
1. Soundcore Liberty 4 NC, P40i, R50i
2. Soundpeats - already buy a clear just for testing. Is there a recommendation for EQ Adjustment?
3. Some interest in 1More ComforBuds Pro - just saw it in the youtube, some say it is ok some like it is not.

Any users can share more information about the 1More? For sure not ex, just 20+ SGD only. I think even getting this purely for music and ANC is fine. Probably for phone call, teams meeting will be using Liberty NC, P40i.

Unfortunately, that's the problem with sound "quality" hence usually it's hard to be universally well liked.

Have you checked out "Aaron X Loud and Wireles" YouTube channel?
Maybe his reviews and backlog of audio and call samples can help you.
