thanks man, yes call quality quite important. I was whole day seeing youtube videos and such, but all is quite mixed reviews.

Found a few in list for testing
1. Soundcore Liberty 4 NC, P40i, R50i
2. Soundpeats - already buy a clear just for testing. Is there a recommendation for EQ Adjustment?
3. Some interest in 1More ComforBuds Pro - just saw it in the youtube, some say it is ok some like it is not.

Any users can share more information about the 1More? For sure not ex, just 20+ SGD only. I think even getting this purely for music and ANC is fine. Probably for phone call, teams meeting will be using Liberty NC, P40i.
if u are consider 1 for calls and 1 for music, can consider proper bluetooth headset, usually better microphone

basic jabra talk model is $40

wow that is a very nice idea, i finally had the opportunity to drop by Tech House and test both the Liberty 3 Pro and Liberty 4 NC. In fact i liked both, i have already purchase the 4 NC, and thinking if i should buy the Liberty 3 Pro. The sound is pretty amazing for both of them, a step up for sure from what i am having at the moment.

Does pink noise burn in helps or something that we do not do now?

Welcome to the soundcore (anker) group if it exist lmao.

and thinking if i should buy the Liberty 3 Pro.
I am the opposite. Had the liberty 3 pro first then got the 4 NC when it was first released.
Tried 4 NC, not going back to 3 Pro due to the fit and ease of putting it on and taking it out.
Personally, no point getting 2 of the "same caliber" unless you intend to switch them frequently while staying on the same brand (soundcore) app

pink noise burn in
While i believe in hardware burn in especially for rack mount servers before putting it into production, i dont think burn in for headphones/ earphones/ earbuds (be it white or pink) does anything to be honest.
And why bother draining your Bluetooth battery just to do that?

Even from soundcore own website - https://us.soundcore.com/blogs/head...in headphones are a,after the burn-in process.
There isn't a clear answer if the sound actually improves after the burn-in process.

test tmrw
How was it?
I had the mini pro, but only used it for office calls or for some noise isolation / anc in office.

Acceptable isolation, small size of buds definitely helps, less bass than anker a20i, personally prefer this sound signature

I think soundcore a40 will be the last of that Brand I will be using. Now the casing like got some issue to charge. It's never fully charge no matter how long I put in. Just bought it like 6 mths ago

cannot fully charged or cannot charge at all ? how long can you use even when 'not fully charged'? if you are sure it is battery problem, send for repair.

soundcore products come with 18 month warranty

It takes very long to charge. And even if charged, its very fast drained. Normal earbud usage is only commute to work. About 2 hour daily commute

Can go and claim their warranty. i bought from local Soundcore before, i went to their office somewhere in Bendeemeer and they exchanged for me 1 to 1 new set.

For the soundcore I bought from Amazon USA, they provided option and refunded me half the price i paid after my liberty 3 pro one side has problem after 14 mths. I chose refund coz i wanna use the money to try other earbuds.

Ya, like what others say, contact soundcore and try claim warranty.
Don't live with the problem else you gona get more frustrated. If they say they cannot do anything and reject you then can just dump it and get some other earbuds.

For me, when I got my first expensive wireless earbuds, huawei freebuds pro, issue occurred after 1 year plus. Since it was already out of warranty, i contacted huawei and ask if its repairable which they say no but can be "replaced" with a new one at the reduced price.

Here's the kicker.
Initial purchase price was 200+ SGD
The issue was with right earbuds intermittent charging problem and ANC distortion if HIGH setting was enabled.
Cost to replace one side was 90 or 98 SGD and adding on "labour" cost is 100+ SGD

At this price, might as well try other earbuds.
In the end, i throw the earbuds in the bin and got my Soundcore 3 Pro
Some may consider my actions wasteful but heck, why should i live with a problematic earbuds or a retarded company policy?

yeah man, just try your luck to get it fixed, repair or get some compensation out of it.

if not, then at least you attempted.

But nowadays i'm not willing to spend so much on TWS anymore. Since the tech has improved so much and the prices comes down alot. Can even get decent ANC earbuds for $50 or $60.

Throwing my lot in here but i had the Soundcore LP3 for slightly over 18mths and the left side bud just stopped working out of the blue. The LP3 was not my daily drivers or anything. If anything, i was using it pretty sparingly so kinda disappointed it only lasted that long. Export set so unable to claim warranty.

Bought my Creative Outlier Pro on 11/03/2023, just about one year of usage, one side of the earpiece battery turn flat after full charge.

Contacted the CSO about the issue, she allow me to proceed with the RMA. Gotten back the same model today, hopefully the replacement set able to use for about 2 years +
