Wanna give a shout out of Thank You to Dean of Sineoji who came over to configure 2 sets of 603v at my home yesterday. 2 weeks ago, I got in touch with Dean to come take a look at my place and to see which model of the IP cam is suitable. Dean then recommended me the 603v which I purchased. When Dean come to my place again yesterday, he helped me link up the IP cams to my home network wifi, and to demonstrate how to get things working on my android phone. Dean also showed me how to use web browser to configure the motion detection zoning of the camera. Really very helpful, top notch service from Dean! :)

However, I must say that there are some problems I have at the moment though:
- The mobile app is buggy. Sometimes when I run the app on my mobile phone (Samsung Note 5 on android version 6.0.1), when I select one of the IP cam to view, the connection doesn't link up. I have to exit the selected IP cam from the mobile app, re-select the IP cam and then finally the video appears. This happens regardless of whether I am at home on my 2.4G or 5G network or when I am using my mobile data. I am using the Asus AC5300 tri-band router on fiber brandband btw, 1 cam is barely 0.5meter behind a wall from the router, and the other is 3 meters straight behind glass panel.
- Alot of times, when the video finally appears in the mobile app, after a few seconds of live view, the footage just hangs there. I then have to force close the mobile app, reopen the mobile app, and then select the IP cam to view the footage again. And most of the time, it hangs again or it can't connect up to the IP cam anymore. The hanging and no connection to the IP cam is irritating, as I can't get to view beyond 5 seconds in real time. This hanging as of now is statistically happening at about 60%-70% of the time.
- When the mobile app is running in the background of my mobile phone, and when there is a motion detection alert, I click on 'ok' to view the IP cam that triggered the alarm, the time clock on that view is 1970-01-01 00:01, but the IP cam's has got another time stamp that shows the syncronised time in the background at the same time. So there will be 2 time stamp on that view page with different time clocks. There is no option any where in the mobile app or web browser settings to change the time clock for that view page from what I have tried.

You are using the Asus ac5300 router ? There is nothing wrong with your cameras nor the sineoji app, disable the smart connect in your Asus router . This happens when the smart connect switches to 40mhz and back to 20 MHz band under the 2.4 frequency band causes some of your clients such as ip camera to disconnect from the WiFi network.

Try that as it works for me when I disable the smart connect in the router .

The smart connect was already disabled on my AC5300. Dean from Sineoji came over my place this morning to help check the router and the connections. After selecting 20mhz from 40mhz, and by using a home plug to run LAN cable to the IP cam that is furthest away, my connection has stablised. I no longer have connection time out. In fact, my real time footage connects really fast now when I use the updated mobile app released yesterday. I guess now the 2.4g bandwidth is less congested. Even when I'm using mobile data to view live view, connection is smooth.

Dean also helped me change one of the IP cam that was having a constant noise that was in the footages. And helped me set up the DDNS for web browser real time viewing. Once again, thank you Dean for the excellent service. Really top notch service from Sineoji.

OK, here's another update for the HW0048, previous photo of the camera view in a room have done great disservice to the HW0048 from WANSCAM (with 1.7mm Lens) configuration. So, I got someone to help me find a narrow kitchen which is long.

First photo hows where the camera is placed so that everyone have an idea what to expect.

bfgbar.jpg

Second photo here shows the ultra wide angle view of the camera. Amazing isn't it? Such ultra wide angle view. As you can see from the image, you can actually view the corner of the washing machine too.

Comparison between Sineoji IP Camera Offering
table%255B1%255D.jpg

My thoughts:

The PT619V's image quality was not only good it was also extremely wide compared to its predecessor, with plenty of detail and a reasonably sharp picture making it easy to pick out details even at its widest end. There was some compression evident, but it was at an acceptable level. The camera is able to capture at up to 1080p resolution, and thanks to its infrared LEDs it can capture video up to 10m away in the dark. We were highly impressed by its night-time performance, with the camera successfully picking up detail at the advertised distance, even in pitch darkness.

The camera has a bi-directional audio and a sensitive microphone, which could pick up quiet sounds from across the room. You can speak into your smartphone or via the web UI, which is then broadcast from the camera’s built-in speaker.

I was impressed with the PT619V. It's easy to set up by using Sineoji iOS or Android app, with useful additional options available through the browser-based configuration for those who need a greater level of control. Image quality was also excellent, both during the day and night, and the pan-tilt-zoom controls were great.

However there are still a lot of improvements required and I am still waiting for Sineoji to have it fix soon.

Pros:
Extremely easy setup - zero initial wired connection needed
2MP recording and playback
Ultra wide angle lens at 170°
Supports 128GB microsd card
Preset settings stored and accurately goes back to the preset settings.
ONVIF supported
Wireless setup all the way out from the box
FREE 3 years of on-site warranty support & installation

Cons:
4x Digital Zoom instead of the advertised 6x.
Capped maximum video record time of 10mins
Unable to configure video record time frame
Lack of microUSB for power input
Unable to use it as a wireless extender
Revamping of interface on desktop is required.- webUI have a number of controls hidden
Price at $279 - making it one of the most expensive in the market now

The focussing ring on the PT619v is really useful. Properly adjusted, the cam produces very crisp images.

How come only 4X and not 6X zoom? And from your screen captures, the resolution at the sides are really blurry just like HW0048.

And your latest review photo clarity of zoomed in is not as clear as the previous zoomed picture of the living room with the straits time paper. Why so??

Oh yes, I would loved to see a pure night vision photo with all the zoomed in too. And if you can, please do a LIVE Capture of the camera streaming for 2 minute, which you can switch from the normal mode to HD mode in wifi. These will show the capability of the camera too. Best if you can do wifi and 4G streaming for comparison.

Bought 7 IP cameras (PT497v a PT597v) from Sineoji and Dean came to my place twice to help install the cameras. First visit unable to mount the cameras because need my false ceiling contractor to open holes to connect to the power socket hidden inside the false ceiling. However Dean didn't waste the trip, he end up setting up all the cameras and my routers so he can just do the mountng of the cameras in his next trip. I'm pleased with Dean's service and support (both before and after sales) and will not hesitate to recommend his service to friends looking for IP cameras.

The only outstanding issues I'm facing now are:

1. Still unable to setup viewer software in home and office PCs to view the cameras remotely (can only use HP to view now but prefered to view from monitor screen). I enter the SHX ID, ID and PW but somehow the software is very laggy on screem - some parts of the menu can't even show on screen.

2. I setup motion detect email alarm for my main door. The phone app has two problems:

- Too sensitive even though I set the least sensitive setting of 10. I get few hundreds of email of photos every day...probably due to the shadow of my family members moving near to main door. I wonder if it's possible to just detect motion at certain area of the camera view, eg the top of the door frame so the camera will only take pic and email me when someone open the door and not when someone walk near to the door and cast a shadow on the door?

- The sensitivity of motion detection will automatically switch back to 9 everytime I set it to 10, maybe app bug?

If anyone able to setup viewer software on your pc/notebook to remotely view the cameras at home, pls share which s/w u use and how to configure (need IP and port info?), many thanks in advance.

Dean came to my place for a 3rd visit to help me config 4x motion detect setting at my door cameras and the viewer s/w to view all my 7 cameras on my PC at one go, like those security camera. =:p He initially offered to come on Hari Raya Puasa (really gotta salute his after-sales service, even on public holidays!!!) but my family is out for whole day, end up he come today and work till 6pm+. I have to compliment his excellent support and I'll not hesitate to recommend his products and services to my friends and relatives! :D

Share my ip camera I bought in Taobao.. think not bad..

My budget for ip camera (usually is <-- $150), not more unless is a professional CCTV camera.

Wanscam IP camera HW0046 (960P)
https://item.taobao.com/item.htm?spm=a312a.7700846.0.0.gdhJX6&id=534062433289&_u=h5tuqft0298
Request for 3pin plug (电源规格: 英规)
In tb search for (wanscam 960P室内语音高清网络摄像机)
If want 1080p ver, talk to seller as those are not their officially release. Think some sort of extra or demo set which they make for other company.

(Personally i think the cable is short, so i will get a long one from local shop)

IP cam cost RMB 285 (roughly is SGD$63) (weight is 0.6kg),
come with 2year warranty
so if u use the cheapest forwarder the most is + RMB 28 for first kg

Video device information (U can change ur cam name inside)

Camera snap using browser mode
(Ip cam -> FTP -> NAS)
(Daylight)
There is manually setting to (On/Off/auto) IR function.

the 2 dot light, is from 2 pc

tT6IETr.jpg

*will change the position later as this is just for testing!

U need to access the internet to setup because u need to change the default password to your. *very important*

for mobile app, just download and scan the code. it done.

i dunno how to compare this with other cam as i only had this one.

*i think dont use their CD software as usually tht one is not updated. Go to their website and get the latest update software)

setup can be quite easy if u know abit of ip setting of your router, as you need to setup
port forwarder and fix the ip address on your router (If not when u restart ur router, ur ip may change)

Harky,

I think as not to mislead consumers, do not post daytime taken "night vision" like some brands did. It's wrong to do so.

In case, many does not know, both recently discussed cameras allow you to manually turn on IR in daytime, it is easy for us who owns the cameras to know if the night vision photos are real or fake.

HW0051 (optical 3x zoom) teaser will be released soon.

Haha Ya. There is manually setting turn on / off / auto IR function.

So far, some very mirror bug are from the application and it is within acceptable level.

As being new to IP camera, think this is not a bad deal. Quite good..

at least major ceiling light are off..

even for outdoor, there are also some light had to be on.. ok i rephrase it.
all this are just mirror thing..
btw i not professional photographer or a ip cam expert le.
Just share what a common normal user buy a ip camera.

how do i know which part or stuff will effect on the IR..... :s22::s22:

All lights off? Apparently, there's an obvious glow on the altar. The light from your PC monitor can also have a positive effect on the IR performance.

Test night vision, must be in total darkness. That will be accurate. If there are lights at the altar, of course it will be clear. Makes no difference turning on infrared in day light.

Every camera turning on infra red with some lights on will be clear. The question is without any lights and in complete darkness, what is the accurate view in terms of clarity ?

Not so difficult for you to off the lights at the altar and your PC. Just do a screenshot from your phone.
