My newly bought TP link don't have zoom, even mention have digital zoom and i don't how to use the zoom. Anyway i want to buy another new IP camera and hope with optical zoom. any recommend?

what u guys think, is it worth it?
The whole point of using DDNS is that even if your public IP address change, your 'domain name' will not change. For example, you decide to use noname.dyndns.org as your DDNS name, then you just use http://noname.dyndns.org.
You might want to use the dyndns updater program instead of the one in your router.
Hi, i got another issue. If currently i using router as Ip address and using TP-link as 1st ip camera.
If i purchase another brand IP camera, do i have problem in setting port forwarding or router setting when using 2 different brand in same wireless router????
if u are at home using wifi or cabled , use the IP instead of the dns address.Anyone know what happen to setting up ip camera?
Very long story:
When i back home, i try if my ip camera is it working which installed in my office for trial.
I can't link when using my home wirless modem. However my iphone 3G can, but if my iphone wifi to my modem, it can't.
To double confirm, i link my laptop to neighbour wireless network, both my laptop and iphone is working.
I also tried direct from modem connect using cable to laptop, the result is fail to watch my IP camera.
What happen to my home starhub? got blocked? my neighbour also starhub....
if u are at home using wifi or cabled , use the IP instead of the dns address.
it works for me.
Anyone has taken a look at the new DLINK's-932L day/night IR fixed IP camera? I think it's not available here yet. Hope that it arrives at the SITEX SHOW. You can watch its use on Youtube.
Its IR range is 5m and FOV is 45 deg. For most HDB unit it is adequate for room, balcony & kitchen use. Not too sure for large hall & long common corridor
Well...if IR light is inadequate then I suppose you can add external IR light sources.
Thinking of changing all my existing DLINK fixed cameras to this new model because cannot see inside the house when the sky outside turns dark especially when rain is imminent

If you are not worried about lack of firmware update, then the B series is probably one of the cheapest pan-and-tilt model you can get with IR capability.
I don't know which model of Trendnet your friend is using, but the Trendnet IP-422WN is available locally. They also have a non-pan-and-tilt model. However, the IP-422WN cost over S$300.
Recently, I bought a S$149 B series, which is an OEM model from China. Functionally, it is equivalent to one of the Foscam model, and on an mobile phone app, I chose the Foscam model number.
I was very pleasantly surprised by what a S$149 package can offer. It has pan-and-tilt and IR capability, and its colour reproduction is okay (I think the DCS-5635 has one of the best, and the WVC-200 is very good in low light without losing colour, unlike some of the other IR models).

brand ? model ? from which website ?
From Mediapro. The B series is functionally identical to the Wansview NCB-541W

On my mobile app, I use the Foscam FI8918W driver.
My obsession with wireless IP cameras continue.... Was browsing Mediapro's pricelist when I saw a new wireless IP camera. This one is also called the H-series, and it is 720P HD capable:
