SAMSUNG SmartCam IP cameras and MS Surface Pro 3 - Finally they work!!

Good news for those users of SAMSUNG SmartCam IP cameras with MS Surface Pro 3

I just found out that I can view into my house from my MS SP3 with the latest updates from MS SP3.

Just download the plugin when run from www.samsungsmartcam.com

On the condition that you operate it using IE and not Chrome or IE Edge

:D

I have been using the Panasonic ones for years and it worked like a charm. The model should be Panasonic BL-C101A. Everything from sound, motion detection, video is supported. You can even combine views of different camera without need of DVR.

Many china made cameras already have multi view via webui. But does panasonic now comes with their own app or need to use ip cam viewer pro?

Something i do not deny is they r build simple, traditional and meant to last despite lack of features

Not trying to fault anything here, it's just that the data will still be intact on the NAS shold the helper turn off the IP camera and my NAS is running under key and lock with a UPS connected to it so I feel more safe than just a microSD card attached to the camera.

Get a clear plexiglass box with a lock. Put the camera inside the plexiglass box and lock it. That way, no one can get to the microSD card.

But any solution can be defeated. All one need to do is to cover the lens of the camera.

Wide angle, not that i m aware of. But mini dome type like those hanging on street lamps ones will b T7833WIPX3 which is sold by Marix. I've previously done a review for it. Not sure still have or not as most contents r taken down. But last saw it sold at $149. Very cheap for a 3X zoom model

Jupiter,

If you have setup the PT593V successfully, it will be connected to 4G automatically.

Is there a number where I can reach you to guide you ? You may PM me.

Or I can make a trip down to your place to guide you through.

Let me know.

For those who enquire, Sineoji will not be participating in this coming Sitex but do check out on the website for any promotions next week.

Hi Jupiter

Yes we disable the special characters by default. In the past we experienced many consumers forgetting their password due to special characters. Hence they have to reset their cam and setup from scratch.

Unless you need it, we can customize the app
specially for you.

Don't know if this is the right place to ask but I'm thinking of replacing my old cctv just outside my main door to an IP cam. Was wondering if there is any ip cam that is able to record to cloud storage instead of just sd card as anyone is able to just remove the card with all the footage easily.

Or is cctv with dvr still more suitable for me?

i believe if you have a Local NAS you can setup a local FTP server to have the video synced to the FTP Server

Sineoji Cameras online promo is already up on their website for online purchase. PT593V is $159, $80 off from the retail price.

PT495V is $125, $60 off from the retail price too...

Thinking of getting the 593V...

no offers for PT492?
