This is the 1st time I rent car in Jeju, I use lotte car rental and I was able to make payment using youtrip online.

Funny i also booked Jeju car rental from Lotte... but i was not asked to input any payment details... it just send me a booking confirmation without a Credit Card information... did u join as member or checkout as guest?

you need to login to your account, look under reservation and click on your reservation number, when you go into your reservation, you will find a click "Payment". Need to make payment online to secure your vehicle.

I think payment is made at the car collection venue. Else the email would have said make payment to confirm rental.

Hence thinking of just changing a nominal amount (for street food etc) and relying on CC instead

Only some street food vendors accept cash only.

Oh also need cash to top up tmoney subway card.
