Korean Won strengthening these past days... back to 960 lvl...


sianz missed the 1000 boat...

Any expert can predict if it will continue strengthening ? I changed 2 weeks ago at 989. Such a great diff now.

Do most of the shop accept credit card (youtrip)?

Most shops accept cc.

Need cash only to top up transport card and also for some street vendors

I would suggest using cash thoughout the trip as it is easier. (I just went there and most of the tourist places I visited were those street vendors and they do not accept cards)

So far none of my friends including me used our youtrip cards once.
I don't see much money changers there also as compared to Seoul, so it is safer to bring more cash.

restaurant also cannot use card?

another way is to withdraw cash there using YouTrip card... got $5 charges... but is scared cannot withdraw... never try before...

Some yes and some no.

Anyway, Jeju is not so city-like like Seoul, so carrying cash would be more suitable.

All restaurants in Korea accept cc....that I know of.
Haven't come across any that didn't.

been using revolut as long as cc is accepted. except for once where mcd gave me problem, v smooth. infact i highly recommend revolut, until i lost my card ....
