If you over saturate it you might damage the colour esp if dyr job is low quality. If you read the other thread about leather shoes one such member managed to successfully strip some of the original colour on his rad russells through careless overyse of renomat.

Renomat will more or less take away the existing finish by the manufacturer, depending on the amount of renomat and the strength that you used. Renomat content is not strong enough to take away the color of the leather completely...

Well, I used Renomat and this is what happened.

Don't ask me why. I am very new to shoe care and I made the wrong move. Silly me I admit. :(

Any idea who I can go to have the colour (Navy Blue) restored on this pair of really new Rads?

Just use navy cream to cover up...

LHB's reply to you in the other is just about the right advice I think.

I think for the very least everyone needs for basic shoe care would ve
1. Horsehair Brush (Clean)
2. Coloured Cream Polish (Condition+Colour)
3. Shoe Tree

I can only hope Tampines 1 Shukey will do a proper job. If not I rather go to the Bishan cobbler that most of you guys recommend.

To touch on shoe repairs/sole protectors. The handiwork of Masterfix is as per above.

Top image is of the replacement heel block. Not withstanding comments about me needing to learn how to walk properly, the rubberhas nearly worn off after less than 3 months of use at a frequency of 3x/week max.

Bottom image is of the sole protector. The vibram has simply been stuck over the sole, without sanding down the leather sole to ensure the vibram is flush with the rest of the shoe.

Masterfix is more expensive than your average cobbler and does not offer any signficant value to justify their price. Not reccomended.

Shukey's work in comparison. Sanded down sole so that the Topy is flush. $20+.

Ya, i thought so too.

Probably because mine was backordered since 17 Nov, that's why it was shipped via DHL.

I was given a further 10% discount on top of the 15% discount code just to hold onto my order.

now, still waiting for 2 more pairs to complete my 2015 shoe shopping. :s13:

Congrats!
Think you got lucky with the DHL shipping.

Normally free shipping will be the slow UK royal mail, which I am still waiting for my loake cannon.
