I applaud Carmina's move to such a model but I think it would have been better if the physical store extended that price to walk in customers.

Imagine you go to the store to try out your size to order online. You to the store once, try the size, go back home, order online and then go back a second time to collect it.

Try, take out smartphone to order, collect on the spot.

If by default the sg store price matches the official website seems more ethical...?

Seem to recall an old post where someone mentioned carmina ships via ups and gst is unavoidable?

Abit retarded if the walk in store is more expensive than online indeed.

Yea they use the big couriers. My Boots came to SG from Spain in 3 days but with a $80 GST :(:(:(

So now it makes more sense to buy from Capitol, since you get free shoe trees and avoid the damned $80 gst right?

At just $59 more, seems like a good deal imo

Does anyone know any reliable shop that offers shoes recolouring service?

My shoes ran into this problem :s39: :

Was quoted about $250 to re-colour the pair. Ouch.

Only Mason and Smith comes to mind. Maybe Edetal as well...

$250 sounds about the right price though. Where is the quote from?

How did your shoes end up like that?

Tried cream or wax polish already? The thing with lighter colour shoes is that it's always going to be difficult to "un-darken".

@Kiingntr
I had the same dark spot that wouldn't absorb anymore
wax no matter how little I added. Not sure if you've got the same problem but turns out it was a build up of too much cream and wax.

Removed it using renomat and got a nice shine using cream only. Wouldn't advise you to use renomat since my original finish got removed (although a coat of cream made it look good again)

Less is more when it comes to adding stuff to leather shoes.

Everything is already factored in for the online price. You get "free" shoes trees for ordering online and collecting it at the store and not delivered to your place.

Exactly why I say that they should just extend that to walk in customers as well. I'm sure they'll get better business since people that come in to try size will be tempted to buy straightaway instead of going home and thinking about it.
