Bespoke from EEA costs $3000... But still DW is probably worth at most $300-500.

I am looking for a nice pair of navy Chelsea boots.. Vass don't do that design and Carminas are very overpriced now.. Any suggestions anyone?? Below $1000 please..

Vass doesn't do Chelsea boots?

Monk Strap

Just a question on double monk straps/buckle:
Would the leather straps cease/wear out over time since I'll keep using it (like a typical belt area where the leather usually ceases and break-down).
Thanks!

$1K!?!?!? Pretty sure you can get bespoke from Ed Et Al at that price. Every bit of the shoe customised to your liking+a last created to specifically fit your feet.

What other thread huh? Hope not EDMW.

Edited : found the thread. Bro [C]hEWy, u didn't feel strange when your post is 1+ yr AFTER the last post, by the famous S##### somemore!

For that price, I pick any of the following anytime. Can try physically in SG Store, so no issue of wrong sizing.

Sadded.. =/

Haiz.. I didn't realize that the post was over 1 year ago.. One of my friends made a golf shoes with this brand and introduced one of the owners to me, so I went in a made 1.. The guys at the shop were very friendly.. I saw an interesting leather that I like so I went ahead to customize and chosen hand-sewn welted, and added my initials on the side of the shoe..

I mean, apart from them being overpriced.. are the leathers that bad or what?

I went in EEA yesterday.. The guy in the shop like totally didn't want to serve me at all..

Creasing yes, I don't see how you can avoid creases other than not using it at all.
But to wear out would be an exaggeration.

Someone had compared DW's hand-sewn welt with a machine GYW from popular brand. The DW hand-sewn are literally hand-sewn for the purpose of hand-sewn only. The common brands GYW are much better.

Not sure whether u able to search for that posting or not.

For for $1k, nothing more value for $ than Carmina cordovan.

Vass cordovan is about 10-15% cheaper than Carmina depending on your sources

But while handwelted, may have some production liberties, since each craftsman basically otot.

Cant beat the colour range of Carmina's cordovan selection though. Clicking wise I think Carmina is even superior

The obvious choice is enzo. Their chelsea boots are even wholecut.

I can't believe EEA charges 3000 for that crap. Their outsoles for bespoke aren't even hand stitched.

You can almost go jap bespoke at that price, if you know where to look.
