Hi, use this guide as your gauge, take note of the cm length. Not familiar with Yanko but I will guess you have down size for loafers but ‘upsize’ for your camina assuming Rain last.

If your ‘true’ size is UK6.5 for Rain last then AM will be UK7. If UK7 is your true size then AM UK7.5.

Hope this helps. Else drop the retailer an email to confirm, they should be responsive for this weekend :)

Hi all, I wear a UK6 for my yanko suede loafers and a UK7 for my carmina. What would be a safe bet for my AM sizing?
Thank you!

Hey guys, is loake Claridge last in G width wider than 026 last in F width? If yes, is it a lot wider? My feet is quite wide.

I wear jfitzpatrick shoes (NGT-snug, LPB-slightly loose) in UK7.5.
Any advice for size on AM?

Thanks.

Anyone keen on Yanko shoes from Patine? Can combine shipping to save a bit. Will likely save ard 40+ per pair if shipping 2 pairs together, taking into consideration gst, UPS fees and all.

slanted tongues T_T

Hi all, got a wholecut from LLYR.

Everything is awesome about it, broken in and wearing it regularly.
However, recently i noticed the tongue will slide outwards after a walking for a few minutes.

Failed resolutions:
1) Tighten lacing, doesnt work. Feet pain already also slide outwards
2) Put tongue pad, also no use.

I have a bit of high arch.but the sliding doesnt affect my other dress shoes.

Read online that i can either glue it and make it stay, or i can stitch it to keep it in place.

Anyone know which cobbler in Sg does that? Dont wanna ruin the shoe cos i really dig it so far :X :s12:

No worries, just asking around. I may not get one in the end also. :s13:

What pair did you get?

I got the outlet pair, 558 Marron. Added a whole lot of stuff to hit the free shipping since getting 1 pair didn't make sense.

Sian sia. My feet is very wide. Even when I try Carmina shoes on detroit last, the sides feel tight.

I don't have wide-ish feet but rather flat-feet, this means that the ball of foot gets kinda flatten and thus presses onto the sides.

I need wide fitting shoes otherwise it gets really pain after awhile.

I'm kinda sick of all salesmen saying the shoes will expand; from my experience it tends to expand when worn and contract when left to rest. Had to throw away 3-4 pairs because they were too tight. Also the expansion distorts the shape a little, although this doesn't really matter to me.

What I've noticed is that, wide fitting shoes differ from brands to brands and the only way is to try them out.

Take note of the leather used as well, some brands uses softer leather and this increase the comfort a lot.

Also note that derbies are more comfortable as opposed to oxfords due to the construction and the lining involved, etc.

On that note, does anyone know if stores in Japan stocks wide fitting shoes?

Thanks for the advice. I just ordered 3 pairs of Loakes online. One churchill(swing last), one seaham(claridge last) and one badminton(026 last). All in UK8.5G width.
