Take note that Hiro is generally shorter than other lasts. If find other lasts are snug and you have long feet, you should make sure that the length is suitable for you.

LLYR 39, Hiro 6.5, EEA 39

Heels flush against the line. As you can see EEA's heel cup extends abit back

But these were their older collections, if you're on the new ones cant help there
Which do you prefer of the 3?

Which eea model do you have? Does it really crease alot as compared to your meermins?

I have an old MTO on either the Istana or Shenton II, a windswept single monk from the Primaute range and a single monk from the old blake-stitched range. These are pretty old models so it's hard to compare.

Creasing is bound to happen. How much creasing depends on how fitting the shoe is to your feet. Creases are also more obvious on darker shoes. If your toebox area is loose, expect to see more creases. This has been debated to death but don't be too concerned about the creasing.

Indeed, creasings will be the case and will always be for all shoes (even for high-end range). Personally, I find and feel certain creasings as a form of art/beauty itself. It depicts a certain aging process. Plain toe shoes will always crease more and wholecuts will most likely crease the most. Like our skin, leather is subjected to creasings and few of the ways to minimise (not eliminate) them is to rejuvenate it with renovateur/creams and inserting shoe trees.

The shoes crease to YOUR own feet, not anyone's else. Every line, every fold molded around the specific contours of your god given flesh.

It isnt so much the colours that make your shoe unique. It isnt the leather, pattern or make up either. Any Tom Dick and Harry can simply copy them, its all a matter of money.

However, your creases belong to you, marking this pair as uniquely yours truly. Embrace them! :s13:

On another note.

Anyone heard of this Thai brand called Mango Mojito.

Seems handwelted from their videos. No idea about their regular line

Why do I feel like I'm in a raw jeans fade thread? :s13:

I am probably one of the perpetuators on EEA creasing on this thread, and I still stand by my comments, backed by personal experience.

Like someone else mentioned, my experience too was with earlier collections and may not apply to the new collection. Perhaps this issue would be addressed with the new collection.

In case anyone thinks I am 'anti-EEA', I readily direct people to consider EEA shoes when asked for recommendations on where to get 'nice' dress shoes locally. But I do warn them about the creasing too of course.
