Meermin website will state the last used for their shoes, but so far I've only seen them on hiro Haha, Have not seen them on Elton.Hi,
Gosh for Meermin! In fact, I am looking at Oxford model no 101198 Black calf, is this on Hiro last? I like Meermin's double monk as the 2 straps seem thinner than llyr? Thank you.
Which do you prefer of the 3?![]()
LLYR 39, Hiro 6.5, EEA 39
Heels flush against the line. As you can see EEA's heel cup extends abit back
But these were their older collections, if you're on the new ones cant help there
Which eea model do you have? Does it really crease alot as compared to your meermins?I've not had experience with llyr but my experience with Meermin and eea was that they take almost the same amount of time to break in, with Meermin being slightly faster.
Sounds like you need to make some money off them! Too bad I'm a EUR 43.5Dont really wear that lot that often anymore. Think I oversized abit for Ed.

I have an old MTO on either the Istana or Shenton II, a windswept single monk from the Primaute range and a single monk from the old blake-stitched range. These are pretty old models so it's hard to compare.
Creasing is bound to happen. How much creasing depends on how fitting the shoe is to your feet. Creases are also more obvious on darker shoes. If your toebox area is loose, expect to see more creases. This has been debated to death but don't be too concerned about the creasing.
Personally, I find and feel certain creasings as a form of art/beauty itself.

On another note.
Anyone heard of this Thai brand called Mango Mojito.
Seems handwelted from their videos. No idea about their regular line
Toe spring. Very comfortable though, just not very pretty.
whut toe spring kind sir?
Look at the side profile of the shoes man, a little bit more and they'd be fit for elves.

This the same brand we talking about?
Seems pretty normal to me at least. Or maybe my concept of elf shoes is biased towards those with a more pronounced whorl-ish toe replete with bells![]()
+1
The shoes crease to YOUR own feet, not anyone's else. Every line, every fold molded around the specific contours of your god given flesh.
It isnt so much the colours that make your shoe unique. It isnt the leather, pattern or make up either. Any Tom Dick and Harry can simply copy them, its all a matter of money.
However, your creases belong to you, marking this pair as uniquely yours truly. Embrace them!![]()

Thanks for the reply. Appreciate it. So the usual few brands? Any1 has any info? Would be gratefulThe shoes we love around in this thread may take even longer time to break in.
You may want to try Geox or Hush puppies. I found that the padding in their leather makes it comfortable to wear right from the start.
