Today i bought a pair of llyr from suntec. Size 42 is tight at the sides. From toe to heel tight too. I try size 43, everything is comfortable, sides no more tight but there heel slip. So guys u think i should take 42 or 43? Or i just wear a thicker socks will do? Is it becuz the shoe and sole still new and tough that why when i wear it will tend to slip?

Sent from Samsung SM-G920I using GAGT

Hi,
Personally I will go for size 43 if you do have a wide feet as the break in period will be painful for Llyr shoe, at least that is for me. You can try thicker sock if you decided on size 43. It took me almost 6 months or longer for my double monk.

is that llyr size 45?

Sorry I can't remember (maybe 44? 45?) and need to check after collecting from the Bishan's uncle as I just sent it couple mins ago. However, one thing for sure is that their sizing is slightly smaller than usual.

yeah i remembered i tried size 45 one year ago and its tight. They did mention they might bring in bigger sizes in the future. 46 would be perfect

Never cross the road to LLYR?

Thanks Bro for the recommendation.. Just made a pre-order for their Burgundy Patina, as I wanted EE size.

Hi,

Judging from you size UK9.5, areyou sure size 46 would be perfect if you are talking Llyr shoe? Just be careful but at least you can still try locally unless you are buying online eg Meermin or Carmina.

The leather of the shoe looks "hard".

Yes Bro, you are right.. It's slightly harder compared to the usuals that I would buy.. But the inside is actually quite comfortable..

I sent in an order for Diamond Walker couple of weeks ago, the shoes should be coming in pretty soon.. Can't wait.. :s12:

You mention bought. So buy aldry how to choose? :s13:

Use your hand and grab ur other palm snugly, thats how its supposed to feel.

I think 42 should be ok as calf will stretch. The heel slip indicates a problem.

Alternatively get ur feet measured with a brannock device to find out ur typical sizing.

UK9.5 converts to EUR 43.5? Sizing all the way to EUR 46... :s22:

Erm.. What did I do wrong?

Diamond Walker is a shite shoe with inflated price due to sketchy marketing. But these days I think the members here are too polite to say it anymore.

What other thread huh? Hope not EDMW.

Edited : found the thread. Bro [C]hEWy, u didn't feel strange when your post is 1+ yr AFTER the last post, by the famous S##### somemore!

For that price, I pick any of the following anytime. Can try physically in SG Store, so no issue of wrong sizing.

$1K!?!?!? Pretty sure you can get bespoke from Ed Et Al at that price. Every bit of the shoe customised to your liking+a last created to specifically fit your feet.

Bespoke from EEA costs $3000... But still DW is probably worth at most $300-500.

I am looking for a nice pair of navy Chelsea boots.. Vass don't do that design and Carminas are very overpriced now.. Any suggestions anyone?? Below $1000 please..
