I went to the DW and SBLM websites to have a detailed look at the catalog.
Both have same categories, similar cement construction, and even exactly same model of shoes.
Notice the DW sole and the SBLM sole are exactly the same, have the word SEOUL and the sizing printed in the same location, except the DW sole do not have the word SBLM on it.
With the above I say I am quite sure these 2 companies are selling the same shoes except with different labeling. Which is perfectly fine to me, eg Brooks Brothers and PRL sell shoes made by other shoemaker and call it their own.
However I am quite uncomfortable with the use of the term "Bespoke" as mentioned by others, the level of customization is like a MTO or Custom Order depending on how much level of customisation possible rather than a bespoke service, if you compare with other shoemakers in the industry. Call a spade a spade.
I for sure do not have any vested interest in promoting any shoe brand, I am just a lowly shoeshine uncle. I do not discriminate any brand of shoe I am asked to shine.
Seannie was flamed not because simply he bought a pair of DW but he was behaving like a prick across several threads. Just giving my honest opinion here, nothing against Seannie although he renegade on his promise of giving me a pack of MOP buttons for my shirts
